It wasn't good enough. I totally understand but it was bad. Really bad. Tired or not. 5-0 is heavy.

Of course it was heavy. They had legs, we didn’t. They were sharp, we weren’t.

We had not far short of a whole side on the treatment table. They have parachute payments and a big squad.

Shit happens in these situations. Nothing tactical, nothing to do with ability. We were fooked, they weren’t and so they gave us a spanking.

We were out on our feet against Reading after the Man Utd/QPR games then we put a shift in against Wolves and the same side bar Frank were out on their feet again. Not much of a surprise tbh.

Just got back......get a grip ffs. We were overRUN tonight, simple as that. First 15 we looked decent but when the first went in the wheels came off.

Make no mistake the Man Utd and Wolves games took a lot out of us. We have kids on the bench, not a lot of options to freshen it up. It really was a case of one game to many tonight.

The lads gave it their all, all being not a lot left to give tbf. What we need to do is rest Reid, Brownhill, Flint, Smith, Pack, Bryan and Wright on Saturday. Take the fine from the FA, end of story. Re-charge the batteries and go again next Tuesday.

Negative - end the Flint up top experiment. Positive, Kelly did alright in his cameo.

They should set up a thread about themselves called “Elephants on the pitch” although if they got wind of that they’d probably run on the pitch and punch them.

Sell out tomorrow, 7k to Man City etc, yeah our attendances will slump!! Although as much as we’ve had that Man Utd win shoved down our throats, apparently, I would take being in the top 6 of the Championship, being on Sky every week and watching football they can only dream about in packed stadiums ahead of taking 50 to Gillingham, 350 to Oldham and celebrating 0-0 draws at Walsall like they’ve just done Barca!!

Most giving credit. But, jealousy is a very ugly trait. Some predicting we won't have anywhere near as much of the ball v Citeh! That might be the case but we will bloody well enjoy it.

Some are calling the team a 3rd string team... Just to remind the blue few:

    Lukaku £75m
    Pogba £89m
    Martial £59m
    Mkhitaryan £34m
    Shaw £33m
    Lindelof £32m
    Rojo £18m
    Darmian £16m
    Blind £15m

    Hardly 3rd string.

Mean while in Horfield the Evolution is starting today.... Honest!

£371m of “talent” swept aside last night. That’s a lot of Tilsons.

I've heard PNE are in for Bodin.

Using the money we pay you for Hugill!!! That will upset the Horse Punchers. Messing their season up yet again. Bet that scenario wasn’t covered in our Gentleman’s Agreement we have with them after nicking Taylor off them last season!!

From the CCMB but probably the most deluded thing I have ever seen....

Its worth knowing a bit of the background over there. Rovers fans are by far the more knowledgeable and longer serving set of fans. They've been through much leaner times, but still turn out in big numbers home and away.

The Wurzels (lovingly named the 'Shit Heads' from the Rovers fans) are the more Sky TV loving, pseudo middle class types whereas the Gas Heads (as they're called by the Shit Heads') are the more down to earth, passionate and loyal type of fan.

Rovers have unfortunately been in the lower leagues for longer, but will absolutely dwarf the attendances of the Shit Heads when the roles are reversed.

Which I'm certain will be in the next few seasons come to think of it...

Don't forget that football ALWAYS goes in cycles thumbup.gif

This is what gets churned out when someone from Cardiff tries to sound intelligent!!

  8. I think we need to get a sense of perspective and recognise that the Fewers do have a more prowed history and culture than us though.

A history of punching horses and head butting vans.

And a culture of thieving from the till and where boob cricket assaults on innocent women taking their kids out for a walk is acceptable!!

I love reading the bull that gets written on here sometimes. Great result lads well done to the lads who travelled and lj and the lads. Coyr

Stand by what I said. Delighted with the win AND I think Lloyd Kelly playing over Magnússon when Bryan is injured would benefit the club in the long term. That's my opinion. And if you want to be a spend your Saturday Evening trawling through 16 pages on a matchday thread finding posts to quote why don't you search a bit harder and quote the later one I wrote!!!!

  10. What we lack in quality at times is more than made up for in sheer guts, determination and fight. Nobody can say the team are short changing ya this season.

Performances like Preston and the first hour today where we just weren’t playing very well should be forgiven when we have a team that is consistently showing it will fight to the end.

With a relatively young team like ours the quality won’t always be there. But if you have got a group of players who will scrap for points you have half a chance!!

Sounds like maggers is having another mare at LB and Bailey is not really a RB. Are our two young fullbacks really not up to it? Surely they couldn't do much worse.

This is my issue tbh. If we accept we aren’t a top six outfit, which we aren’t, then I’d rather see Kelly get game time over Magnússon who has had plenty of time to get up to speed and doesn’t seem up to it. 10 games from Kelly here and there will benefit the club more in the long term imo.

Let's put the Gas attendance lie to bed shall we, read the attached and weep !

14 years only have they had a better attendance than us, how many times have we exceeded twice their numbers+ etc... discover for yourselves!

#gaslogic dictates that you ignore facts like the above (once in the last FIFTY years they've beat us on attendance), make statements like "if we were in their position we'd piss all over their attendances" and that becomes the undisputed truth.
