  1. I would imagine Lewis Thomas wants to play a few games. You can’t go seasons without playing even as a Nr 3 keeper…….albeit he was on their bench yesterday.
  2. As always, depends on the fee. If Bristol City spend £3m plus on a player they have to deliver end of. We don’t have the money to take £3m punts. I wouldn’t judge him solely on yesterday though because they were all below par except Max and Tanner.
  3. I was thinking it would be hundreds not renewing. Some think it might be a few thousand. My gut feel is the recent run, regardless of the quality of the football, will persuade those of us waiting last minute to give our (futile but still needed imo) message to the hierarchy enough reason to renew and it will end up hundreds maybe a thousand down.
  4. If I was making up my mind on yesterday alone I wouldn’t take him on a free. However it’s not as cut and dried as that…..
  5. There will undoubtedly be a drop off in ST sales, quote this if I’m wrong by all means, it’s just a case of how many……..
  6. It’s the difference between an experienced manager prepared and able to deal with a moaning Senior Player or three in his office and one looking ahead to an important three months next season who cannot afford the seniors to turn on him. Simple as that.
  7. You can be sarcastic but if 1000 people take his view then Steve has to find another £0.5m out of his own pocket. Thats ok though cos you don’t give a ****
  8. We were home to third from bottom and safe from relegation with fans having watched months (years actually) of shite and the most important thing is to make sure we have people who track back when our talentless squad, trying to play possession football, lose the ball……..again and again?
  9. People leave when they like for whatever reason they like. Hasn’t got anything to do with you.
  10. Didn’t stay to see us beat Swansea tbh it was that shit. Points alone may do you, not me. QPR, Cardiff, Swansea, today - all shit games of football. Wednesday was the worst defending by an opposition at this level I’ve ever seen. The poster who said our performance is dictated by the opposition is spot on.
  11. That’s what’s going to happen and if he changes nothing and we continue to put these performances in regularly then his position need’s revisiting. The ball is in his court.
  12. ……..and when it’s four out of six home games boring people to death fans are entitled to call it out for what it is too.
  13. Garbage game. Another Binary Bore to add to a long list. Huddersfield weren’t totally useless at the back so we massively struggled. Take a point. Hasn’t helped Manning’s cause much going into next season and won’t have persuaded anyone in doubt about a ST to purchase. Far too many of these games. Another season of watching this type of football will do for me I think. No excuses, we don’t operate under massive budget restrictions now. Let’s hope Liam introduces something different come August because this bollocks is ruining my enjoyment of football.
  14. Swansea levels of shit that 45 was. Not a single shot at home in 45 minutes. Wow.
  15. Do you know who Blackburn have away from home in their remaining games?
  16. If ever a quote summed up their fanbase that is literally it. Imagine the scene, some horse puncher in a boozer in London, chatting with some Spurs fan: "Who do you support?" "Bristol Roverzz, biggest club in Bristol and we gets full houses every week. In fact only Spurs spent more money on their stadium than us the other season." "What does your ground hold, 20 maybe 30K?" "Well not quite, it's about 10K and we're getting 7K most weeks so like I say, nearly full houses every week. Also we take 30.83% of our support away from home (except Fleetwood where we took 75) so we're the best supported away club in the country as well." "You took 75K to Fleetwood?" "No, 75 fans". "Oh, just need to go outside and make a phone call...........".
  17. People never learn. It's the Championship and predictability never reigns. Full of players who are Premier League one week and League 1/2 the next......such as Dominic Hyam on Wednesday (if you haven't seen it you should have a look and try and work out how it is actually possible for someone who plays at the level as CAPTAIN of his club every week to put in that "performance"). Add into the mix that teams right at the bottom have now reached the desperation end of the season and in a league famed for "anyone can beat anyone" it really isn't that surprising what's happening. FWIW it will be criminal if Farke cannot get Leeds out of this league automatically. Best side seen down the Gate this season by a motorway not a street.........and I include the West Ham and Forest cup sides in that which were about as strong as they could put out at the time anyway.
  18. It's a challenge that will see a lot of heat evaporate away from him if he can overcome it..........
  19. Game tomorrow lads.................
  20. Guys, just say the form between x and y was absolute shite, don't mention the R word and hopefully you won't go to prison.......
  21. Most of us couldn't believe our luck that we had a billionaire take charge of the club.......then he started making decisions and spending his money. But it would be "ungrateful" to suggest that according to some. However it is clearly not ungrateful at all to suggest a manager that has worked under significant budget restrictions (with Richard Gould) and, at the same time, kept us in the Championship whilst accelerating the career of two players sold for £30m and benefitted said owner is a complete and utter dud........ Brian Tinnion can't believe his luck, that's a certainty.
  22. There is one obvious change in intent that we showed in particular the other night. Instead of playing 175 passes sideways and backwards it is showing everyone like a flashing beacon that players are now "allowed" to play the ball over the top of/behind their back four if the opportunity presents itself. So now it might be eight passes and a more direct ball forward. It could be that they've been "allowed" to do this all along and misinterpreted the brief or it might be the case that Liam and Chris have decided our current crop of players must have that option otherwise they play themselves into some sort of oblivion that winds fans up and puts their jobs at risk!! However, whatever the reasoning, that has been the obvious difference in the last few games imo. We turned Blackburn's back four round so that they were facing their own goal and they couldn't handle it.
  23. The problem is whilst you can get rid of the symptoms and everything "looks better" you haven't necessarily got rid of the underlying illness and the symptoms will return at some point. Until Wally is bombed out of your club nothing changes. He's an amateur (and I accept you might well and justifiably throw the same accusation back regarding our hierarchy). He condoned Joey's behaviour over a considerable period of time before he had no choice but to fire him.
