  1. I was rewatching the highlights of yesterdays great win and noticed both teams were wearing white shorts, and Blackburn also had 1 white sleeve. For a colour blind sufferer it was making it more difficult to pick out the teams. With the shorts I’m surprised we didn’t change to the black ones if the alternative shirts are not sufficient. Who cares we won, but surprised they were allowed?
  2. Watch us wreck the mic Watch us wreck the mic Watch us wreck the mic…..Sykes Lets get ready to rumble etc etc etc
  3. We have character, commitment and confidence which has been severely lacking in the last few years, great to see!
  4. That’s the best thing to happen at Rovers since the championship ready sprinklers were installed! Fair play
  5. I’ll always take a draw away and that’s defo the case today! 2-2 I reckon! COYR
  6. Sounds great to me a few months in Greece with a huge club!
  7. That’s all fair enough, but I think the problem is the distance he is trying to pass the ball between defenders, and his ability to pull off those passes. The 3rd Blackpool goal wasn’t a result of Naismith playing from the back and getting caught in possession, it was a complete hospital pass in injury time from Naismith and could easily have been avoided with a pass to Bentley. The pass last night from which they nearly scored was a crazy pass across half the width of the pitch, asking to be intercepted, and not in Naismiths locker to pull off. As someone else has said, I think he thinks he’s better than he is at passing and he thinks he can execute raking passes across the pitch at will. Passing the ball that distance between the back 2 shouldn’t happen IMO, There is a difference between playing out from the back and getting tackled, to giving the ball away when passing to a team mate. The latter is the problem he needs to address.
  8. Nige came in and had 2 jobs to sort on the playing side: Scoring: He took over a team which couldn’t score, he changed that last season and we started to create chances, which this season we are converting. Defending - However, the increased scoring chances left us weak in defence, along with the personnel to defend well. This season he has recruited well and we are now getting clean sheets and looking more solid. Nige has slowly but surely turned the ship around, and if we can keep everyone tomorrow then playoffs have to be a possibility.
  9. Adults who collect stickers are behaving like “a person who commits a crime involving sex, especially sex with a child”* Bit harsh! *Cambridge dictionary definition
  10. Ah yes I did the 94 wrestling album, happy times! I also had all the parts in the binder for World Cup 94 and completed the first premier league one with Swindon in!
  11. I did the 2010 one and completed it. Much easier when you are an adult and have cash to buy loads. We also had an email group at work and used to send lists of required stickers around and send swaps in the internal mail!
  12. https://youtu.be/YPtt7gZCtzg Came across this vid ranking Championship fan bases, not sure how it’s been done but we sit in a very respectable 6th place! Sorry can admin move out of transfer bit, thanks
  13. They have played 2 of the top 3 in Burnley and Norwich and only lost by single goal, so probs not as bad as table suggests, can see a draw tonight
  14. Chill out, it was a joke in response to another post about compensation, no malice intended or a dig at the player, just because I didnt reiterate what others have said doesn’t mean I don’t agree that it’s a bad situation for the player or don’t have respect for what he did for the club, I am human and i do have compassion believe it or not
  15. I remember football 9 months ago, jumpers for goalposts, rattles spinning in the crowd, 2 bob to get in, boys used to sneak in under the turnstile, muddy pitches, players could enjoy a pipe at half time, the games gone now
  16. Baker can wipe away the tears with £50 pound notes
  17. What a click bait article that is ?
  18. I can see us in and around playoffs no bother, as long as we iron out the stupid crazy last minute knocking it about the back for no reason decisions!
  19. I’m 43 and I think the support is down to Sir Alex and the massive success they had. When I was a kid in the 80’s everyone supported Liverpool cause they were winning. Maybe in the 50’s that was the case I don’t know, but there have been 4 generations of kids born since then
  20. I was under the impression that the Man Utd away fans are the hardcore of fans as it’s very very difficult to get tickets for away games? Home games it’s like Alton Towers at Old Trafford but pretty sure away it’s different
