  1. Some of the fans you call nobbers you know from when you were more regular around the City pubs. You wouldnt say it to their faces! Making some noise banter being close to the away fans was part of it for quite a few. Its not your it but it for is some. noise is atmosphere and the noise the banter the stupid odd chants (Tom Thumb??) frequently will keep the atmosphere going as well as the game does. City used to have stars in the crowd like AP and co who could work and lift a crowd, and their chants sometimes had little to do with the game they were jokes about us their fans all sorts leading into a chant getting behind the team then the next was about drinking ten pints then back to the team. You call that irritating others enjoyed being part of the din. Making noise doesnt kill natural atmosphere whatever that means. Most important? Enjoying the experience is the most important thing and used to be what also happened off the pitch Citys characters were stars. The singing section has been used to control atmosphere in the Dolman stop fans using one rule for the singing section and a rule that you can only do that in the singing section for the rest. That has led to less noise, less atmosphere less supporting of the team fro the Dolman.
  2. Scored five in two legs and went out. Needs more forwards???
  3. Saw Crass at the Trinty Centre twice first walking through Old Market was so violent and the gig itself taught me a lesson where as a kid you think you can handle yourself and you a tough lad and then you realise your still a little boy. Second 83 ? Annie Anxiety was on stage before Crass and went into thirty minutes of screaming like she was giving birth to alien.
  4. Rangers board antagonising fans groups who helped save the club in 2012. Talk of dodgy dealing with fans buying Rangers dodgy crypto currency that loses fans money, fans being ripped off for tickets to add more to the fire Rangers now enter a tournament in an International break in another continent including the first international friendly (???) v Celtic who are wrapped up in multiple child sex abuse cases. This tournament in Australia has nothing to do with the real Rangers who are its fans.
  5. Open out in possession but get compact out of it. If the opposition go diagonal defend that but defend the center of the park first. Cones out today defending 2/3 and 3/5.
  6. Twenty one goals conceded in the last eight games. Thirteen in six. Watertight this 3-5-2.
  7. Too complex and too demanding for average players which is why City are struggling with basics. Top teams with quality do. Average dont.
  8. The team is not good enough to play three at the back. Its too complex for average players.
  9. Should have rinsed the defender instead of chucking himself on the deck. Reffing today any of thatg it will be that was a shit touch stay on your feet next time please.
  10. Billy No Mates. Local ish but signed to very local Invada records of BS3.
  11. Kick it out are going to have urgent talks with NUFC about the insenitivity of wearing tea towels. Training and education wil be offered to Newcastle fans on causing offense Murdering owners are not offensive though.

See the swerve. Still banging on about a group of City fans who were white black asian mixed race catholic Italian displaying a banner saying All Lives Matter while at Newcastle those who think they dont have bought the club.

The banner at the Cenotaph had written on it. Listen Andy Bennett - we are NOT FAR RIGHT, just ordinary people of all races from Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Newport etc. united to defend the cenotaph, to defend the memory of people who died so that we are able to have the freedom to protest. ALL LIVES MATTER. Rich thinks that means so what your saying is your the NF.
  14. Since the Eastend went its got worse. The embarrassingly named singing section hasn’t got that it about it. @Welcome To The Jungle you go abroad and see how free fans are then come back here and have to go to meetings to talk about putting a flag up in the Dolman and after months get told its no. Edge has gone about the place songs have become pc in a football stadium!! Its all so nice is a reason it becomes all so quiet. Don’t try an edgy chant in the Dolman only woke chants now while sat. Cant see it changing unless City tear the league up and cant see a fans group having the clout to push things forward again like open the EE.
  15. NME too many big words for Punk. Anybody remember what the Vice Squads fanzine was??

Took to doing the bleep test. Gardens just long enough. Murdered myself to get to 9. Thought I was going to vomit, nose turned into a snot tap!!
  17. As a young kid it was an eye opener. Done twenty thirty away games and there was nearly always violence and often a lot of it even where I didn't think there would be any like Northampton. At reading properties got smashed up and looted and there was a lot of bullying going on. Lot of guff about hooligans only fight hooligans that day that got ****** out the window this showed City fans at their worse worst. It was Reading not Milwall.

Bath half marathon used to be a good race for attempting personal bests. Pretty flat and for a Winter race never ran a windy one unlike Bristol. Its now a big race and the start can get really crowded and can bin attempts at PB's. Lot of support around the course around the centre for those who are struggling.
  19. Personally think Crass Bloody revolutions , Big a Little a and Christ the album blows anything the Clash did lyrically away. They could more than play and I think people just didn't the the diy idea and lo fi production from records costing pay not more than 85p. the Clash were in the same studios as Genesis!!! The Subhumans from Wiltshire from the cradle to the grave is also leagues apart. Getting away from the topic so back to Bristol scene Chaos UK and No security equals any hardcore from the USA. Still stands up hairs 35+ years later,
  20. Saw the Dead Kennedys at Bath Pavillion in 82 markman. Lot of good gigs then in Bath and Chippenham alongside Bristol. Bristols Disorder supported DK and Jello Biafra was in the crowd slamming away before getting up on stage. Saw the Stranglers in Bath as well. Bit of theme here JJ Burnell got so pissed off with the fighting in the crowd he invited anybody to get up on stage and have a go with him there were no takers!!
  21. saw the Angelic Upstarts, Clash, Cockney rejects, Damned, Dead Kennedys, Killing Joke, PIL, Ruts, Skids, SLF, Stranglers, UK Subs and a lot of bands on Bristols Riot City records normally four or five on the bill headed by Chaos UK or the Vice Squad both bands had City fans in them. the Vice Squad gig at the granary is on youtube. Best live were SLF and Crass which was more than lively for a band who were pacifists. Chaos Uk and Disorder were always a shambles but fun. Vice Squad were class and should have been bigger but Beki went on to form rock band ligotage. Gigs back then were seriously violent and gigs often worse away from the Cities as you get local v skins v rockers v mods v punks. Bath and the UK Subs saw a side of Bath never seen now!!
