    Maybe we're embarrassed it's only 1?

Probably but we shouldn't be - at least we have won it. Albeit increasingly some time ago.

Uruguay last won it in 1950 but are not shy about stars. They even include four stars on their shirts despite only having won the world cup twice! Maybe we should follow their example and just add a few :)

Footnote: The other two Uruguayan stars are supposed to be for winning the Olympics before the world cup.

  2. Enough about crosses - what about stars !

France, Germany, Italy & Spain all proudly display their world cup winning stars on their shirts but for some reason we camouflage ours so it's not really visible.  It seems like we're embarrassed by it.

As an exile (East Sussex) my only moan is that as I can’t realistically make evening games it is not worth my while buying a season ticket, this increasingly means I miss out on away games (Plymouth is a currently example) as they often sell out before Members get an opportunity to buy.Never use to be much of a problem but has occurred a lot more over the last two or three seasons.

Not sure what the answer is , perhaps if we keep playing crap , then less people will want to go , and problem solved 😊⚽

I'm in the same situation being in Surrey. I've also noticed that getting away tickets has become more difficult in the last few years and have to reluctantly accept that if we did ever get to the PL I don't think I'd be in with a shout of getting away tickets. I fully accept that ST holders have priority but what irks me is that anyone can buy a membership to enable them to get priority just for a specific "glamour" game, potentially not having been to a City game before and therefore having equal priority to someone like me (55 years man and boy!!).  City even plug buying memberships prior to a big game for that reason.

  4. We have a bedroom that has always suffered with condensation which had caused mould to grow on the wallpaper near the windows. Last year I tried the type where you use moisture absorbing tablets (Unibond) as shown in the picture. It did take moisture out of the air, and requires no power, but you do have to keep buying the replacement tablets. So this year I have bought an electric 12L dehumidifer and an constantly amazed at how much water it collects (certainly much more than the tablet version). It is noisy but we use it during the day and only probably every two days for a few hours. However - we have not had any condensation since!

See what you did there

Remember the chocolate box well - just across the road from Luckwell school

2 just came on site but could only select ST holder option, so frustrating surely should be on sale to members too! (I already have one ST holder but a member mate is after one)

That happened to me when I got one earlier in the week. Thought I was scuppered but then realised I could scroll further down where I could buy it as a non ST holder.
