  1. They haven't though have they? Had we lost all 6 games, we would be staring relegation in the face, would any of them have been dead rubbers then? You have to take into account the opposition as well, out of the 6 games only Rotherham (and probably Sunderland) had little riding on them for either team, every other match has seen us against a team with something to play for. It's easy to class this block of fixtures as dead rubbers with hindsight, but in reality 4/5 of the 6 really haven't been
  2. According to the OS, it was over 13k as of a week ago. I guess 1800 or so is feasible in that time? https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/season-tickets-set-for-members-sale-tomorrow/
  3. They have 15 players under contract for next season, with 3 more being offered a deal. So yet another summer of rebuilding in order to reach mid table in league one, something special really is happening there!
  4. Only the second lowest of the weekend in league one, 50 or so less than what Burton took to Fleetwood. About right for them tbh
  5. Would be fascinated to see where I was 'wet and limp wristed' yesterday, examples would be good. Examples of your 'massive insight' would also help, you've mentioned it a few times now but not actually backed it up with anything substantive
  6. @phantom has responded with a fair bit of information and facts to what you've said, he's clearly someone who knows a lot about where the women's side of things is at right now, especially with his role with the SC&T. Just as a suggestion, if you want to debate it with him (and as you've said, you've been around BCFC women for a while, so you have the capability to do so) then go ahead, that's what a forum is for. Name calling, and attacking the poster, isn't what the forum is for, however. Especially towards an Admin. Everyone is disappointed about yesterday, and the season as a whole. But let's not turn petty and turn against each other. The only way the team will get out of the championship in the next few years is through everyone singing from the same hymn sheet, there's absolutely no need to be offensive towards other supporters just because you have a different opinion
  7. Mansfield causing the fewers to cry yet again, you just love to see it
  8. Yep that's fair. To give the club credit, they've done a good job marketing it. Really hope the youngsters who have been drawn in this season stay now for the next couple. Next season will be tough, no doubt, but if they can have a couple of thousand each week that will only help
  9. Playing at AG I'd say it's very likely. Theyve been getting over 4k for the less Glamourous prem ties
  10. Likewise, I guess it's to increase attendances as much as possible. 2/3k watching them at AG would be way better than 1k at failand
  11. Perhaps, I'd imagine there'll be a drop in season tickets next season anyway, so not sure how much of a difference that'll make. It's also a £25 increase on their last championship season, which feels quite extortionate really It just feels a bit odd to me, but I guess there's a reason I'm not in charge of these things! What does that have to do with anything?
  12. Any sort of increase after relegation seems odd really. Had we been relegated to league one this season, I heavily doubt people would have been happy with a 6.25% increase across the board
  13. They're playing at AG next season, not the HPC. Not quite sure why the need to disparage the club or fans after this season in such a way, the support has been superb (5th highest in the league), who cares whether they're there to see England players or not?
  14. It's £8 a game isn't it? Just for comparison, when Reading were relegated last season, theirs were £70 for adults and £35 for u12s for the season after. An increase after relegation, to what will (I'd presume) be comfortably the most expensive season ticket in the league, feels quite bizarre
  15. What difference does that have to do with it? City weren't relegated when the team sheet, with the drawings, was announced pre match. Their position in the table is irrelevant. Do you really think any of the players care that a child has drawn a picture of them? If anything, this sort of thing helps bring eyes into the women's game. A child who drew say, Abi Harrison, may now look out for her as their favourite player. It can only be a good thing
  16. So have City men, why weren't you annoyed at it yesterday? The kids who made the drawings will be thrilled they've been included, I genuinely don't see the harm it's doing?
  17. Why are season tickets prices rising despite relegation?
  18. Why? What difference does it make to anything? It was a family day, so they're giving school kids the chance to be involved as much as possible. Talk about finding things to be offended about...
  19. So just to confirm, we’re you or were you not the pitch invader today?
  20. Glad you enjoyed it, nice to see you being positive as well for once. Not sure why I've been mentioned though!
  21. We're now exactly 4 months on from this. What exactly was that 'something' that was happening back in December? I must have missed it?
  22. Considering where Derby have been financially in recent times (a mess they certainly aren't clear of yet) I'd be very surprised if they could pay higher wages than the majority of clubs at this level to be honest
  23. You do raise legitimate concerns, but you also fail to raise any legitimate points of praise as well. If you're only capable of doing one, then fine, but that's not a narrative on my part. If you could point any lies I've told I'd be grateful as well
  24. I agree, but when 95% of what someone writes is negative, even after a victory, then it's only fair they're questioned about it. It's very easy to constantly criticise and expect perfection, but the best posters on here are the ones who are able to balance that with a level of positivity, which certain posters seem to struggle with
  25. What's your basis for that though? The last 3 seasons they've finished 21st, 23rd and then 2nd in league one. Nothing from that screams potential to go up from the championship does it? In fact, they have spent 2 of the last 16 seasons a league above us. Hardly sounds like a side with potential to go straight up again?
