  1. Exactly, and has to be taken into consideration when judging his recruitment. I’m sure if he had a bigger budget, the players brought in would be very different
  2. It’s difficult to judge the summer recruitment without knowing the budget Pearson had. I think on the whole it’s been ok, James and King for me were brought in for leadership in the dressing room. James has shown glimpses of quality and King unfortunately hasn’t been fit enough on a consistent basis. Atkinson has been a decent signing with room for improvement. Tanner too early to judge. Simpson has been an awful signing , for me should never have been brought in short or long term, personally don’t want someone with that conviction at my club. Simpson has been a stick with which many have beaten Pearson with.
  3. I’ve contacted our SLO about the lack of products available in the club shop for a while now with absolutely no reply. With the financial position the club is in you’d think they would want to increase products available to generate extra income. We’re miles behind many clubs in merchandise. @Street redI live by Leeds and the club shop at the ground is well stocked and they have a club shop in the city centre (I appreciate they’re a bigger club and a bigger fan base than us) but their club shop is always busy. Our club shop is closed today and tomorrow and when I asked the reply was it’s a bank holiday weekend !!
  4. Outside chance Huddersfield could be playing for automatic promotion last game of season
  5. Problem is clubs know our financial position and will look to take advantage of it. We may want £x for a player , the question is can the club afford to turn down a lower bid with where we are ? We’re a selling club unfortunately, always have been and always will be
  6. Morning all, Heading to Bristol next weekend and taking son to his first game at AG. Planning on something to do on the Friday and considering either Bristol Zoo or Longleat. I understand the zoo is being closed down and moved out of Clifton. Is the zoo still good value for money, or is longleat a better option. The lad is 2 and a half (almost) Thanks in advance
  7. Pop corn time , here comes Keane !!
  8. Should put the little ***** in front of ronaldo and his family and ask him to repeat his comments. Just hope this is respected by both set of fans: Manchester United have confirmed there will be a fan-led minute’s applause in the seventh-minute of tonight’s game at Liverpool. The mark of recognition follows the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo’s new-born baby boy and is a gesture planned by fans of both clubs. Both teams will also wear black armbands.
  9. Agree, thought we played well second half in particular - needed a bit of composure in front of goal or a better final ball
  10. Owners like Morris and the guy at bury should be banned from running companies when they’ve created such a shambles at football clubs. It’s too easy for this owners to walk away with no penalty
  11. Been announced his baby son has passed away , awfully sad news: Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner have announced that their baby son has died. Writing on Instagram, they said they are "devastated" and called it the "greatest pain that any parents can feel".
  12. It’s shit that numpties are out and about and are everywhere
  13. Unfortunately it isn’t just related to football , threatened by a group of four this afternoon will bring stabbed. Took our little lad whose two to the the toilet with me as potty training and trying to encourage, to be called a padeo and my son gay by some numpty to which I replied do you want want a slap - to be met by four outside and one monthly **** threatening to stab me for disrespect . It isn’t just football , it’s booze and coke and it’s only to get worse
  14. People have got to accept it’s going to take time , next season is likely to be tough and hopefully get through that onwards and upwards

  16. One of the very few games not even picked for red button on Friday, it’s that bad!!
  17. Harper was also being touted , along with Towler and when he was played and exposed it was bad management as he wasn’t ready!!
  18. Agreed , IF Pearson is sacked or end of contract is done ‘mutually’ we simply don’t appear to have the funds to pay compensation for an employed manager. Plus whatever we have to pay Pearson and coaching staff will reduce our playing budget. How has this been allowed to happen , questions need to be asked to the decision makers of the club
  19. Concern for me is whilst we may receive bids for those players , we won’t receive the bids of our valuation. Clubs will know our financial position and therefore would expect bids to reflect this.
  20. Mark , I think what needs to be discussed is how have we ended in this position, ultimately we’ve gone from a side that had an outside chance of top six to a relegation fighting side. I think it’s easy to point the finger at Pearson but in my opinion our problems are bigger and have been going on longer than Pearson has been at the club
  21. Big weekend: Saturday Everton v man utd Watford v Leeds Sunday: Norwich v Burnley quite possible Everton could be in bottom three on Sunday and level on points with Watford (but with better GD)
  22. For me this is the point when our recruitment is questioned last summer, think it’s likely as a club we were looking to reduce our expenditure purely by the number of OOC players we signed and allowed us to push the boat out slightly to get Atkinson. Think there’s still a number of fans who simply don’t get how dire our financial position is and will be expecting us to spend money despite Pearson’s comments
  23. Have they announced the price yet?
