  1. Who is the individual in the picture on the right of page 38 to the left of Mark Shail?
  2. I can’t see many points this week, Preston we always struggle against, ideally we would have played them when the fixture was originally due to be played as we were in form them and playing with confidence. Milwall, Rowett will set them up to expose our weakness and in the recent past has been quite successful at doing so. Can’t see either game being pretty on the eye , and if we’re to get anything we’ll going to have to fight and battle for every ball and deal with crosses better than we did Saturday
  3. We’ve spoken about this before and our views are aligned. If the answer is to remove Pearson who do you replace him with ? We have no funds to sack a manager. We’re shopping in the lower leagues and feee transfers yet people expect us to bring in premier league loans with finances we simply can’t afford, for me demonstrating a complete lack of financial matters as demonstrated by the statement that if Gould left we could ask for £800k compensation, a complete lack of understanding of employment matters. Unfortunately, we next play Preston and Millwall , I’d be surprised if the negativity finishes by the end of the week and calls for Pearson to be sacked will be louder
  4. By the way good write up in the Norwich (a) programme
  5. Agree , two tough games this week. We deserved at least a draw on Wednesday at least, today beaten by a better side but two tough games out of the way. With this side we could be top six contenders , need to cut out the mistakes at the back , let’s not forget our last three home games we’ve won all three without conceding
  6. Morning guys , just been catching up on the Pod. You guys get a lot of criticism some justified, some over the top. The pod is much improved from a sound basis and the views more constructive without knee jerk comments (obviously results help!!). It’s taken Pearson time to turn it around, I always believed he would and as I’ve commented before I believe one of the reasons he stayed when he probably could have walked due to illness etc was because he could see the young talent we have coming through. Let’s cut the mistakes out at the back and we’re a real contention of top six and hopefully got a big decision regarding bids for our players. Great work guys, like the other pods it takes a lot of time and commitment to produce. ??
  7. Evening , in Bristol end of next week and looking for suggestions for things to do with a 2 year old. Any suggestions would be grateful staying in BS16 - cheers
  8. A radio 2 concert in Leeds meant to be attending next weekend , now confirmed as cancelled. Personally can’t see us playing again until after the international break
  9. It’s the wrong decision , the world is carrying on people are at work together, you can go to a pub and have a beer , a restaurant and have a meal. For me either you have national mourning and everything closes for a set period or you don’t. If you want to mourn , that’s fine and your wishes should be respected , you don’t have to go to the pub, restaurants , theatre or sport. Would completely understand if the funeral was tomorrow but it’s not.
  10. January could be really interesting , we certainly have the fire power to beat any team in the league. It’s a big if but if we’re in contention for the top six come the January will the club gamble and reject any bid for our players with the promise of if we don’t go up free to go in the summer for a set price. You can imagine the attraction of potentially being involved in a promotion may be tempting for players to stay for 4 / 5 months longer?
  11. Peoples priorities change over time, reading many comments on here it seems like most follow the same path - it becomes a big part of your life in your teens and early 20’s and then your priorities change family etc, and you go back when the kids get older. I fear football is going to become more selective for many as we enter the end of this year and next year, as cost of living really bites for most of us. The option of paying £30 odd quid for an away ticket plus travel and general expense will put many off, the same for home games for those without a season ticket. As others have said, I’m city because I’m from Bristol and not many glory years have happened in my 42 years of life. There are easier options than supporting city
  12. Why risk him tomorrow he’s too important to how we play. We play seven games between now and 17 September when the season breaks for international fixtures. Wycombe are a tough physical team , we can do without an injury to weinmann.
  13. Certainly wouldn’t play weinmann or Conway. Would like to see Wells continue. Am I right in thinking Wilson can play LWB which if the case Tanner could play RWB and Pring LCB
  14. Seems to be a lot of noise of Man Utd fans attempting to stop this game tonight in protest against the ownership of the club. They managed to postpone the game recently, can’t see them being able to stop the game after last time and full crowds this time?
  15. Semenyo and Conway up front together would worry every defence in this league
  16. A deal up to £42.5 million for Gibbs White!! Forest will pay an initial fee of £25m, plus up to £17m in potential add-ons.
  17. Clear pen not given but Sykes red was correct decision @bexhill redsagree
  18. May not be a popular view but do think that price should be higher
