@JulieH just out of interest, if arrested and found guilty of violence at a rugby match are you still subject to travel restrictions as you would do at football ?

There is no doubt that it hasn’t been a good week up to now, with Flint gone, Bobby probably off to Cardiff and possibly Bryan to shortly follow. The week just shows the gap between us and then is as wide as it’s probably ever been, they can just wish of receiving £17 million for two of their players. Add in the fact we’re about to spend £5 million on a centre back (the gas can dream even with Wally’s backing). Add into consideration we probably made more money on Sunday showing the England game than their commercial department makes on a match day. Mind the gap and to quote Doppy ‘Happy Days!’

Completely agree, but like @Bar BS3 says there is no mention of it being football related.

The talk all seems to come from Wilder again. Not sure if a strategy to make it look like Matchroom aren’t interested in the fight. Wilder does talk a good game !

Hello @Matt Parsons BCFCSLO, thank you for the response, very much appreciated. I think the frustration for many is this gentleman is making comments which as a fan of Bristol City I find concerning. In general I would say that Ashton Gate is a safe environment for supporters to attend, but with the gentleman making claims that a supporter was subject to a vicious assault is hard to stomach, add in the fact that said individual is disabled and many stood and watched is concerning, especially when this allegation continues to be made. My concern is that people are posting his gentleman’s image, contact details etc which I completely disagree with. Thank you for your reply

Completely agree, football season has finished so likely club officials may be on holiday. This sad story has been going on for a very long time , plenty of time for club officials to put an end to it

@Matt Parsons BCFCSLO how about you actually speak to your employers about this individual?Your employers clearly don’t give a **** about the supporters of Bristol City Football Club, However they do care about the image of Bristol Sport which this clown is commenting about which has been stated as untrue by @JulieH and Beanhead (remember him ?)

If the guy has evidence then show it. If not he needs to shut the **** up

@JulieH completely agree with the above post. This guy is posting bullshit about our club and that a disabled fan was subject to an attack. There is banter in football but this guy continues to overstep the boundaries.

Actually going to this, living up North. Never been to a ‘live’ boxing event previously. Agree, watched Josh a few times and not sure he has the power or skill to beat Selby. Think it may be more interesting in the stands. Heard several rumours that a number of Welsh clubs are bringing numbers up, on the basis likely to be less police presence than for Leeds v Cardiff for instance
