Nice to see Semenyo on.
4 forwards and 1 natural CM though...? Let's see how it goes.
Holden used to get slated for doing this. I hope it works but seriously he used to get ripped to pieces for this

You are right, of course ,although we’ve seen these moments often with the player.I don’t wish him any harm.
You would think that with all Baker’s experience he would have learned to avoid these types of injury.
He is too often injured and going off before the match is finished. He is no good to himself or the club if he is consistently unavailable .
I sort of get what you are saying. But a non commited/full throttle baker is no good to anyone. Baker is a top championship defender because he puts his body on the line to defend. Take that away he is a fairly limited footballer.

He is brave, he is competitive, he is Mr 100 %........but he is always injured. That is what I mean by what is the point of Baker? I think he is great, but if he is never on the pitch, what is the point?
Clueless

If I could bet on Baker spending more time in the treatment room than the pitch throughout any season.....I would be a rich man? Seriously what is the point of Baker? If he hardly ever plays?
Hardly ever plays?

Just the player he is. 100% no fear to his detriment. Love the Baker
If bakinson had 1% of bakers bravery/commitment he would be twice the player. Must boil bakers piss watching some of the wet wipes we have in our squad.

Could this be what all the fuss is about on the other thread. Save alot of “ITK’s” blushes

Shakespear officially left Villa so maybe that?

How does it look after both were in charge after pre season etc?
I ignore Pearson’s record completely from last season cause in my opinion he was shafted with the injuries & contract situation of many.
So was Holden then surely?

I didn’t think Pearson was the right man for us but it’s a lesser of 2 evils. I don’t like Pearson but i cannot stand Warnock

Would they be doing any worse?
I doubt they would of got 3 points against Barnsley. I am far from happy about how we are doing by the way but be realistic at least

No, the title is not a comment on today’s display, but a question, in every employment I have ever come across, there have been tools to manage people and if necessary manage them out of the business, a Poor Performance Policy being one, why do professional footballers seem to be immune from any sort of performance monitoring leading to contract cancellation.
If you cancelled contracts on piss poor performances we would currently be playing half the U12’s squad to fill the gaps

I didn’t want Pearson from the start but this isn’t time for “i told you so”. Point scoring etc and who to blame is pointless. Don’t want to sound like a cheerleader but we are bang in trouble and i think the fans could be huge to keeping us up. A few weeks away for internationals feels like it’s come at the perfect time.

There'll be clowns on here who blame Pearson for that, despite him not being there.
There are “clowns” who would defend him if he was though.

Hah didn't Nyatanga say he didn't enjoy playing football? I know there are a few knocking around.

That won’t be his personal target but he is attempting to navigate a boat whilst bailing out at the same time .
Staying afloat would be a decent achievement.
Just out of interest IF johnson or holden kept us up by 1 point this season would that be seen as a decent achievement? I am not Pearson out yet because i do appreciate what hand he has been dealt. I do think he gets a fairly easy ride considering his average record at best. If a non big name manager came into this situation i can’t see people being as patient. Threads like this will divide opinion obviously but i guess the answer is somewhere in the middle

That is a strong Weimann obsession that the OP consistently has. As soon as we lose he is on his case.
One of our best 11 players, AW would always be in my side.
Can see an argument for a Wells/Weimann pairing but expect Nige to stick with Martin & Wells (& play Weimann in midfield).
Loving the obligatory “give Palmer another go” mention, too
If Weimann has to be in the starting 11 it cannot be in midfield. He simply is not a good enough ball player to be in there. I get his attributes and why his energy/intelligent running are crucial to a team. He is the sort if player who looks best when he does things instinctively and in midfield he has potentially too many options and doesn’t do the simple thing well enough for me.

We get stuffed at the Hawthorns where no sensible City fan expected to get anything and we get an all too familiar knee jerk reaction…………
Otib really does make me smile especially when City lose………..
Imagine you saying OTIB is predictable

It's context...the squad has no depth, we've had some cracking away wins.
I know i am not one of the Pearson out crew just yet. But trying to understand all the hype. Not trying to be argumentative just never fully got it.

I suspect not. I'm afraid I don't know what your point is. Someone has to manage us. Presumably their track record is an indicator as to what they have to offer.
My point is people come back to rebuilding leicester. I can see that part of his record but what else makes him the man? I am actually interested because i just don’t see what else makes his CV so impressive. Any other manager on a run like this gets rightly crucified.

didn't do a bad job there though did he?
Compare his record with most of Lansdown's appointments - head and shoulders above most of them to be fair.
No but holloway got blackpool promoted? Would people want him.
