I am Dom Bess' biggest fan with the bat - in fact I have said he will not be bowling in 2 years. He is a batsman.
But that is inexcusable from him.

Anyone know if Somerset are allowed to stream the match live since it`s not on Sky now?
Yes

Gutted about yesterday but not at all surprised.
Good luck Somerset

I feel sure Sky would televise it though, stick it on main event or something. All the stuff is there on site so unless they`re aiming to shift it all to Hove overnight it should work OK.
Somerset have tweeted it won't be live on tv tomorrow

I feel the gap between the divisions is sadly getting wider - teams that get relegated from D1 seem to bounce straight back.
Glos' 4 day side is absolutely the worst in the country by a million miles

Glos have lost
Never been so happy to lose. Really didn't fancy going to Lancs... Although Worcs have now won so it's them!

Indeed. And adds to the increasing grumbling amongst the members that the cricket is secondary to other events on the club's list of priorities.

Yeah agree with both here, useless...

Don't know that it's guaranteed but it's been formally requested by the club. Liam Gallagher has a gig at OT this Saturday and they want to give the outfield maximum time to recover. Originally there was a rumour that we'd give up home advantage in the QFs if needs be, as it wouldn't have been practical to move it to Liverpool or Blackpool at short notice.
Pretty ******* useless of Lancs that, isn't it? It's not like they are a crap side with no chance of qualifying top 2

North 1 vs South 4
North 2 vs South 3
South 1 vs North 4
South 2 vs North 3
Reckon we'll be the 2:30pm slot on the Sunday as long as we're one of the home ties, reckon we'll win the group from the run rate
I believe that Lancs have been guaranteed the Sunday 4pm should they be at home

You play the sides in the North Group
21 off 18. Never good enough in any T20 game
I did not know that

Disgusting umpiring.
P.S all of a sudden Somerset v Glos QF looking likely...

2 horrible games for Somerset and Glos tomorrow. Hopefully 2 wins

What happened today? Any Somerset fans there?

Luckily Surrey were able to retain Dernbach.
Surely 18 points is sufficient to qualify - one more win for a home 1/8 draw?
In fact, with the two abandoned matches (Glos and Sussex V Kent) and Hampshire's fine start, perhaps qualification may be confirmed later this evening.
18 is enough mate. Confirmed straight away

Here is a stat that surprised me
Before last week, Jamie Overton had never bowled a full 4 overs in a t20 game for a run a ball or less
He has done it 3 times in the last week

Well. It was. Now its average.
I absolutely hate this ******* Surrey commentator. Biased *****, the exact reason so many people hate Surrey.
Not listening but had a good chuckle... can just imagine what he's like, all knobs.
Good luck Zummerset...Hope you win

One more win each probably enough. Two more wins each enough for 1-2.

For the Quarters I mean - think its the weekend between 3/4th test. Can't see the ECB letting them play..
Oh, sorry haha. Yes... You're right. Almost certainly not, Moeen Ali for Worcestershire a possibility. Porter for Essex. Pope for Surrey.

Mind you as the north side table stands Lancs/Yorkshire home ties would be tough - I guess no England players would be available however
They should be, last international day of cricket scheduled is Sept 11, then none until October

Hopefully both will have home games in the quarters.... Both then get through to finals day,
It helps that we don't have to face one another again, can't take points away from each other. Hopefully we both just win all remaining games then QFs.
