So, the general tone tonight is:

    - sack Pearson

What happens next then?  What are the consequences of that action?  What is solved by that action?

    I’m in 2 minds.

Firstly no one out there excites me and makes me think they can turn this around.

Secondly I think we are going backwards under Pearson. We seem less organised, less drilled, in all areas of the pitch. At the start of the season I saw improvements on last season, however now I’m not. I don’t see what we are doing in training sessions to be honest, do we even train together?

Do I think Pearson is the right man? Each week less so, probably to be honest I’m more against him than pro right now.

Do I know who is / should be the alternative? No.

They stuck around for a bit

That’s harsh on Lansdown. He’s been here a decade, and the money he’s been pumping in I can’t see him making a profit at the end.

The content is great on social media when we’re winning

I disagree. Massengo hair was funny. But tweeting Coventry asking if there’s cider in the away end purely allowed them to take the piss post game.

Updated to date, after I posted it on a match thread a couple of games ago.....

Dean Holden (Numpty who should never have been appointed)

    P36, W16, L17 PPG 1.42.

Nigel Pearson (the experienced manager that everyone wanted)
    P32, W7, L18, PPG 0.875

Holden wasn’t the answer. I wouldn’t swap Pearson for Holden. That’s a weird comparison.

Dasilva has been a major disappointment, and to think we all thought we'd mugged Chelsea by only paying £2m for him.

He was terrific on loan, well the 2nd half the season.

Hasn't come back from the injury, is it confidence? Is it coaching?

I am not pro discrimination. In fact quite the opposite. I don't like it when the most suitable candidate for any position is discriminated against because they do not belong to a particular cultural, ethnic or gender group. My son is applying for 1 year placement for his year in industry and was told by his advisor (who incidentally is female and from India) " with large public organisations, because you come from a white middle class background you will be at the bottom of the list and as such you should concentrate on medium and small privately owned businesses."

    Howz that for discrimination?

Seeing as minorities have been discriminated for decades, what do you suggest is done?

  7. Basing it purely to begin with on where we are short:

Centre Mid - Smith would be great, we need more legs. Brownhill too for a bit more creativity in there (and legs).

Wingers, as we have none - Elliasson, 110%. Bryan too, feel he could do a great job left mid (making us more solid but also with his attacking outlet).

Then 1 spot left, would have to be up top. I'd actually pick Djuric, Martin is absolutely flogged and we have Weimann and Nakhi who do know where the net is. A big man would be more of a priority (especially with wingers).

Until he is allowed to bring in his own players we will struggle. Half of our first team squad are not good enough for championship football and we cannot expect to compete using players from our academy all the time, perhaps we need to bring in a quality head of recruitment who can beg borrow and steal players to join us.

We are limited based on time and money. But also does he deserve it?

We actually played some good football the start of this season, prime example was Swansea at home. I left the Gate seeing clear improvements on last season, I don’t mind losing those games knowing other times we’d win them.

I feel we’ve gone backwards since, performances are getting worse and I can’t personally see what NP is doing now. Basics like solidifying, making us hard to beat, building from defence out. Why are we not doing this? It feels more like panic tactics with 3 strikers on the pitch. Especially as we lack creative players.

Haven’t seen anyone getting angry tbh just stating facts, have you watched the program lately it’s about as fun as the dentist, none of them can barely string a sentence together apart from sue smith who just rambles on talking nonsense

You’ve posted a lot of comments on a thread about Jeff although not one post has been about him. Every post has been about who it could be, even though they haven’t been announced. Weird behaviour.

  10. I think our main loss is width, I think we desperately need wide players who can attack and push the opposition back, as well as create chances.

Let's be honest, we have some very good CMs (when fit), and Wells, Weimann and Martin can all score in this division. But we just don't create chances.

We stick LB Pring on left wing, or are stuck with ODowda. And right hand side bar Semenyo, we start Williams there vs B'Mouth!!!!

Must’ve changed their algorithm to include related tweets rather than explicitly what you searched for(?)

Odd, probably a ploy to get more subtle screen estate for ads

Yes I've been looking at trends and tweets with other similar content has been appearing. Actually really annoying.
