Because of the lockdown.... If we come out of it too quick then the virus will spread and more lives will be lost. We have the most deaths in Europe due to going into lockdown and it shows, so we shouldn't rush our because you're bored. -

But until things are finalised then how can they refund? If they did, and then games returned with fans, it would be a nightmare to sort out. You buy a season ticket with no guarentee when games are. -
Includes players yes. Furlough is for anyone, but youre right it's capped at £2.5k per month. Bristol Rovers are topping up their wages to the full amount.

30% hit for well paid players is better than 20% hit for those at the other end. It hasn't been mentioned that they will, which if was the case would definitely be mentioned. Even Bristol Rovers are topping up the 20%. -

Owned by a man worth £2.2 billion. Some players on £10k plus a week still earning their wage in full, vs other staff at the opposite end of the pay scale only getting 80% paid by us. Seems unfair to me. -

I have no idea why this would be the case. Look at Sheffield, two clubs and United are doing very well. Actually are there any other 2 club cities apart from us, Sheffield, Manchester and Liverpool? Good quiz question here.

We don’t know what their cash flow situation is like to be honest. They may really need the money and Cardiff should pay as its due. Cardiff were to pay it if Sala was still here. It also seemed like Cardiff leaked the news, which I don’t agree with.

I think Fulham would totally understand. However the issue would be sourcing players unneeded by their parent club, as they wouldn’t be able to get a replacement.

There’s some comments around the transfer window being extended for Cardiff to sign another striker. Would be a very strange situation for any new striker at the club, knowing you’re replacing a recently departed player.

I fully expect it to have a clause saying “if performances are XYZ and you’re fired you’d only get paid for 1 year”. Actually I just remembered this is Rovers, I highly doubt the contract is even “water tight” ?
