  1. Another joke VAR over-rule. I think it flicks her thigh first too. Spoils the game.
  2. Only one of them is being covered by Robinstv…suspect it’s the FGR one.
  3. Cool, is that a promise then?
  4. Two more signings, James Collins (CF) from Cardiff and Scott Loach (GK) from Chesterfield.
  5. https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Stefan-bajic-ancien-de-saint-etienne-c-est-a-bristol-que-je-vais-le-plus-progresser/1343541 Interview with Stefan. If you have an iPad / iPhone, there is an auto translate button “aA”.
  6. That’s the problem, you’re trying to give yourself a definite answer / rationale to an unknown situation…and taking other people’s views (OTIB, media, etc) as being the gospel…made even harder when two people have opposing views, so not knowing who’s right - probably neither!! We all do it to an extent.
  7. Why are you so sure we didn’t go for Rudoni? We don’t conduct our transfer business overtly. I’m not saying we did btw, but it is perfectly possible we did go for him, but he chose Huddersfield for whatever reason. We aren’t every players first choice are we? It may be we didn’t go for him because we don’t need that type of player, but do need Cornick. We’ve just got £250k for Reuben McAllister ???
  8. Gary Owers had several of the kids staying with him at various times, Semenyo included.
  9. I don’t know. supporter services
  10. I dunno, really tough one to judge. Complete punt….£750k ??????
  11. Well this one has piqued my interest. No idea on the twitter account…looks to be consolidating other stories…apart from this one, which I haven’t seen anywhere else. Would like it to be true. Mobile, physical striker, who runs the channels. Under contract by Luton (on their retained list), so I’m sure Luton would expect a fee. At 27, a 3 Yr deal might appeal, and I’m sure Naismith will sell the club to him. Looking forward to seeing if this develops any further.
  12. I was hoping there might be an announcement in May, but I can only assume “consultation” is taking longer than expected.
  13. Last season it was sold by Plymouth. tis this season too. https://www.pafc.co.uk/video/packages I registered for an account last season.
  14. Haters gonna hate! ??? A series of videos re Sykes yesterday..
  15. Yes, he’s 18 currently, 19 next Birthday. I have his actual date of birth, courtesy of someone who would know. ??? No, he wasn’t born in September.
  16. I’ve been more than happy with his contributions in his open two friendlies. On early viewing I think he’s settled in well. No, but we are starting to form opinions that feed into a longer term view.
  17. You could both be right. ? Re WP, Zian Flemming, Millwall’s new signing is still waiting for his paperwork to come through, so couldn’t play yesterday.
  18. I read about this a year or so back. My instinct was that although it plays out in age group stuff, surely it evens out in senior football. I was surprised that there is an impact / bias. There was a Welsh player (can’t recall his name), who recently got his first cap, who felt that he’d been penalised by when he was born. His parents took him abroad where the school year was different, etc, etc. Here it is - Jamie Lawrence https://thecorrespondent.com/406/the-curious-tale-of-the-football-international-nobody-ever-heard-of-because-he-was-born-in-the-wrong-month
  19. New “role” as opposed to new “position”…..as you say in your final sentence, he’s learning a new way of playing. There was an Oxford journo who wrote a piece last week that implied he’d always been a right winger. He hasn’t. That’s the bit I was trying to get across…if that makes sense? And I think he’s doing pretty well so far in taking that onboard.
  20. Marcus Harness was pulled out of the starting eleven last minute. That might’ve been the reason for the delay. I’ve actually liked what I’ve seen so far. Finds pockets, good technique / tough, bit of pace, links up well with Wilson. I’m not sure I buy all this “he’s learning a new position” stuff though. It was only really last season he started to play wide right. He’s play as an attacking midfielder for much of his career up to that point. He may of course be learning the intricacies of the expectation of the exact role for us, but it’s not like he’s playing out of position per se. As I said, I’ve been quietly impressed with him so far. Today for much of the opening 70 we played a more 3421 (343) with initially Weimann left and Sykes right of Wells, then second half, Wells and Weimann swapped around. When the subs were made we went back into 3412 with Sykes as the AM/10 for the remaining 20 he was on. I have him as 01.01.2004….was he 18 in January???
  21. Had a little niggle (not related to op) do behind others in fitness. That’s the rumour going around.
  22. See SPH is no9 I’m not gonna read anything into JT being 16 and Pring’s number.
