  1. As the maths teacher sat in the stands, watching his favorite team take on their rivals, he couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration. The team's performance was an exponent of failure, and they seemed to be making mistake after mistake. The commentator was trying to find the derivative of the player's speed, but he was at a loss. The coach tried to rally the team with a pep talk, but it was a complete non sequitur. The maths teacher shook his head, knowing that the match was a real integral part of the season and they needed to step up their game. He leaned over to his neighbor and whispered, "It's a tough equation to balance, trying to cover both maths and football." The neighbor nodded in agreement. As the second half began, the team's defense was as solid as a geometric proof. The coach was trying to strategize, but his plan was full of variables. The math teacher crossed his fingers, hoping that they could pull off a win. But in the end, it was not to be. The other team scored a goal and the match ended in defeat. The math teacher sighed, knowing that the team had missed an opportunity to solve the problem and come out on top. He made a mental note to brush up on his probability skills before the next game, hoping that it would give his team an advantage.
  2. Ashton signed just 1031 players in his 13 months in charge at Portman Road.
  3. The Belgium squad was arguably top 5 in the world, you can't expect to win a Euros/World Cup. They got to the quarters in 2016/2020 of the Euros & 3rd in the 2018 World Cup.
  4. Swansea - League One Champions + 8th Championship Wigan - Won FA Cup Everton - 50% win record Belgium - 70% win record
  5. I know it's been stated already but why are they spending big money on players that, from recent experience, can't cut it in the Championship?

    Cameroon

Cameroon Football has been rocked by further controversy as 11 further Under-17 players have failed age tests, bringing the total number up to 32. The African nation's Under-17 team are preparing for the UNIFACC tournament - contested by the Under-17 sides of Central African Football Federations' Union countries. Samuel Eto'o - who is president of the country's governing body, Fecafoot - called for all players selected for their youth side to undergo MRI tests to determine players' age in an attempt to deal with the rising problem of age fraud in the country.
  7. "Today I feel Qatari. Today I feel Arab. Today I feel African. Today I feel gay. Today I feel disabled."
  8. I don't understand how you arrived at the idea that our success is dependent on the failure of Ipswich or Ashton. It is nice to see a snake squirm, though
  9. Re Palmer, he did acutally have to report his wage (when he went to court), and at the time was on £110,000 per month. https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/news/west-yorkshire-news/live-former-huddersfield-town-star-15224568
  10. Mark Ashton, our former CEO, is now the CEO of Ipswich. While he was with us, some of his financial decisions had a negative impact on our club.

  13. I sent you a quick message but to add to the thread, I’m quite confident the wages were correct due to being threatened by the club. (I think it’s been enough time / the photo seems to be cleared from the internet, for me to mention this again).
  14. I know Lansbury was on a decent wedge, 17k+, he’s from Potters Bar & has a house in Welham Green (AL9 7something, briefly lived there with ex mrs) unsure who the relations were but they loved to talk about his money at any chance possible, never saw Lansbury myself.
  15. I’m still uneasy when it comes to communication, a few times I was shouting at Vyner/Atkinson to put their foot through it as Max was half in and half out. He does have a tendency to get caught in no man’s land, whether that’s him or the defender (or both) not communicating properly is another question.
  16. Remember a few years ago when an employee left a sheet of paper with all the players wages in a coffee shop in Clifton?
  17. It was actually one sentence but, your wish is my command: The post is about a football match between Bristol City and Coventry City, and includes information on the match and related events.
  18. This post is about a football match between Bristol City and Coventry City, and provides information on the state of Coventry's pitch, injuries, expected lineup, and officials for the match, as well as the origin of the phrase "being sent to Coventry" and a mention of Norwich City's denial of an approach to Coventry's coach, Mark Robins.
