  1. Obviously a big sheed who lives in Sheffield and is just making things up cos he`s jealous that we`re as big as Man City now #UTG
  2. See Points West have fallen for the `richest man in the world` bollocks - they kept calling him a billionaire.
  3. I was at a village fete at the weekend and there were a load of blokes in baggy shirts dancing and hitting each other with bunches of flowers. Apparently they were Morrissey dancers.
  4. Damn you Rich, it looks like I may have been had after all. Still, I`m sure the bailiffs will be sympathetic to my plight and understand that anyone could have fallen for such a sophisticated ruse. I shall be writing a very strong letter to Mr Okobe demanding an explanation as I`m sure he will be as surprised as I am at this alarming turn of events.
  5. Huh! Sez you! My communication is from the desk of Mr Sunday Okobe who is the Minister for Oil and Other Stuff and I think you`ll find he is beyond reproach. If my documents were from so called `royalty` I`d be very suspicious. I think it`s you who`s fallen for the oldest trick in the book mate - I`ll give you a wave from my private helicopter which will be bringing me to Ashton Gate in the not too distant future.
  6. Sorry Bert, I`m only interested in genuine investments that will provide me with a good low risk return so it`s the Nigerians I`m afraid. I will of course alert Nicholas to any other similar investment opportunities that I should happen to hear about so he can clean up too. He could of course send out e-mails along similar lines in his own right as a solution to the club`s financing problems - lets face it, it`s the only thing he`s not tried yet!
  7. I had one like that and am just waiting for the paperwork to arrive that confirms I now own 80% of the Nigerian oil industry. I`ve used my life savings and I`ve remortgaged my house to pay the processing fees but I reckon it will be worth it.
  8. And presumably the infestation of thieves and vagrants happened around the same time.
  9. Well. I`m not going to be sitting behind one that`s for sure
  10. That may just pay off HMRC and avoid them being wound up for unpaid tax. It probably wouldn`t stop admin though as that will depend on their other creditors and what they want to do. HMRC have no interest in them going into admin as they would only get 10p in the pound or something like everyone else - they would prefer they were wound up and the assets sold as, being a preferential creditor, they would get paid in full before anyone else. If they are wound up, you`re looking at a phoenix club in the Manchester & District league or something like that. I expect them to pay off HMRC and then go into admin. Does anyone know what the cut off point for a points deduction in any season is? I know they did introduce one after Leeds played the system that time and took the points deduction after they were already relegated. There now have to be a certain amount of games left for it to be applied in the current season, if there aren`t enough left, they get it next season.
