  1. No we shouldn`t ban them. It would make us look as insecure and incapable of reasoned argument as they clearly are. I`m quite happy to debate with members of the dark side in a reasonable manner and you never know, some of them may pluck up the courage to take that first difficult step back into the light. Consider it helping those less fortunate than yourself if you will.
  2. If they don`t win at Stevenage on Tuesday and others pick up points (strangely, all their rivals are away too but with the exception of Plymouth who are at Orient all have winnable matches) then next Saturday v Exeter becomes vital for them. On the same day you have Accrington v York, Wimbledon v Orient, Oxford v Hartlepool, Plymouth v Dagenham and Portsmouth v Wycombe - pretty much all home wins if you were forecasting it.
  3. Funny how that`s gone quiet now they`ve sold out in the same way they always accused us of.
  4. And of course, we`d all be in the away end kicking off as usual.
  5. I`m just going by the comments on their forum (I know, I know!) and most of them seem to be of the opinion that they over invest in the facilities and under invest in the squad (much like most fans I suppose). They keep on about not keeping Will Grigg at the end of last season - apparently he wanted to sign but they wouldn`t pay the fee - and seem to be hanging their hats on the fact that Real Madrid are interested in Dele Alli and they`d get a big wedge of sell on if he went. They just seem more despairing than most relegated sides.
  6. What are you trying to say? Are you suggesting they have delusions of grandeur? Surely not - I`ve never seen any evidence of them ever being anything but humble.
  7. True, they do flatter to deceive. They were nailed on six weeks ago and since then couldn`t buy a bloody win till yesterday.
  8. True but I can see MK going straight through to league 2, especially if Robinson goes. Charlton and probably Bolton should do OK though. Mid table is the best the blue few could achieve though IMO.
  9. Keep an eye on Pompey though. Hitting form at the right time and a game in hand. They should never have lost to Plymouth yesterday by all accounts but the old `dockyard derby` is always a tricky one to call and it does keep Argyle in the mix at least. I still think they`re going up in auto though.
  10. If I were gas (thank God I`m not) I would expect to see some tangible proof of the owner`s plans over the summer and by that I don`t mean a vague promise to build a car park. I`d want something definite regarding UWE like a signed contract with a contractor or at the very least to know that the job`s gone out to tender. I would begin to have serious doubts if I was still getting told it`ll be jam tomorrow come the start of next season. It won`t take long for Wally`s fan club to turn on him.
  11. At the start of play we needed 6 points to be safe, now we need three. Take that all day long.
  12. Bloody good job we signed him and he`s not still on loan - Wigan`s keeper sent off today so they probably would have recalled him if he was.
  13. Yep. City in about 1974. They`ve been round my neck like an albatross ever since!
