What about the cost of the land though? Does Scunny`s £18m include that? I`m guessing the sags won`t be buying the UWE land so that could be a significant saving for them. Even so, I don`t think we`re going to be seeing a state of the art new sports ground emerging from a field at UWE for at least five years, if at all - unless of course some wealthy businessman with an interest in supporting local sport were to finance a tennis & athletics complex on the site. I`m sure the facilities at the Bristol Sport/UWE multi sports arena would be the envy of many.

Interesting thought. What doesn`t kill you makes you stronger. The players will have learnt a lot about themselves this season and as far as I can see most of it will only help them to progress. You`ve got to learn how to lose before you can win sometimes.

Wycombe have no love for them and for once it`s not just the fans, I get the impression the whole club dislike them intensely. Hopefully a couple of strolls in the sunshine will be in order. After all, no-one wants to break a leg just before their holidays do they?
