Torquay’s. Scene of my first City game, some 73 years ago. -
Terry Bush, expected to fill Atyeo’s boots

Manning has to start with a home win or else that sinking feeling will return in earnest. Mid season and heading for top six, according to the Lansdowns, leaves no room for home defeat or home draw at this stage. Good luck to the team and to the new coaching staff; I fear you may need it tomorrow COYR

Arguably our squad is now too small There must be a middle way
-
If not sooner.

More positive than many fans, but that is to be expected. Also clearly has not had enough time to get ideas over. However, if he intends to play a different game than Nige then we are in trouble as we shall need new players, and I am doubtful personally that he will be given much room for movement in January. He made no criticism of players and that too is understandable; hopefully he will have a go next week at the appalling finishing. Only worry for me he kept looking downbeat with his eyes fixed on the ground. Not great body language.

The never ending Lansdown merry go round has begun all over AGAIN. I wish Manning well, whilst also having serious doubts this will end well

Guess Mannimg now realises he has been sold a pup by JL and Tinnion. Certainly not a top 6 team. -

How anyone, least of all the Chairman when recruiting a newHeadCoacht, has the right to claim this team isa top six one. Without Nige seriously concerned we may slip down the table -

You can change the captain but it is the same old SS Bristol City anxious to hit the rocks - again. -

Overcoached! -
Why be so anti plain blue? It was after all our kit in the biggest match in our history. Proud to remember 1909

You really can’t help being personal and wrong. Have a good night

If Manning does the incredible by gaining us promotion after hefty injection of cash in January, then I fear this could be Cotts all over again, ie promotion and then no backing, despair from Manning, followed by sacking. Do hope Manning turns out to be the real thing but then he will have to deal with SL and JL, anxious to sell and not anxious to invest in players The problem with the club is not the manager or head coach, but the Ls and now we find Tinnion too
-
Guess Nige may call it a day judging from remarks he has made over time Had hopedCurtis would at some point have taken over. He will likely go on to great success, sadly not with us
-
We know what his take on the squad will be, as we have been here so many times under SL, ie the squad isn’t fit enough, some of the squad are not pulling their weight, the squad is lacking a style of play and round we go again
-
More likely not in our lifetimes
-
Will he be McInnes mark 2? I remember well the hype about his appointment
-
Not without an put and put striker he won’t

White shirts our alternative kit when I first followed in 1950s

Football League World says Head Coach’s job will be attractive because of JL’s statement we are in top 10 of budgets. Thus, imo, if money is made available then the decision to dispense with Nige’s services goes back to the summer. The club never therefore had any intention of giving Nige a new contract and wanted a new man in before next transfer window - just waiting for opportune moment.

Almost certainly one of the first casualties. May cash in on Bell and/or Conway in January window too, with orders from above. -

Interested, Guernsey. Here again, and again asking for a friend can those at the match make a prediction as to where this promotion side will be this time next year in the Premier League? My friend thinks in the European places as promised x years ago.
