Perhaps LJ acted on Fulham manager's ill judged assessment of City as dangerous from set pieces given the height of Flint and Djuric. He should have kept quiet!

LJ obviously wants the midfield five to break through in a way that he believes four wouldn't. Clearlly a positive decision as both Taylor and Djuric are on the bench Interesting move

Come on City hold on to 3 points, and with reinforcements in January, who knows where we might finish. January is when we must spend, not necessarily thinking of promotion but of play-offs. Club record of spending on the up has never been as good as spending on the down. This is the season to change that.

Sounds from a distance that this is a mid table team versus a bottom of the table team. We can't hope for anything more than mid table given the distinct lack of quality in a number of positions, amplified when we have injuries. Still a long way to go before we have a side that will consistently be knocking at the door of The Prem. But given the previous two seasons this is a big improvement
