  1. NP OUT? No, no, no Who then? Do I really have to spell it out?
  2. What a truly dreadful back pass by Simpson. As bad as any I’ve seen from a City full back. surely we must accept he’s totally finished at this leve,
  3. Plan A. Nige to keep us in Championship Plan B. Nige to get us out of league1 Plan C. Don’t be stupid even the Government doesn’t have a plan C
  4. Look no further than our almost non existent Board and our owner who has consistently failed over two decades to deliver on promises. PS What is the point of a High Performance Centre with no high performance players. What is wrong with Weston beach!
  5. I wonder what the hell Nige can do between today and game at WBA. I doubt many on here believe even a draw likely. It is the old old case of where do we see the next win come from. It will come, but when, and will it be enough to keep our season going? Yesterday, in despair I asked how can Nige survive this run of home defeats and draws on his watch, today I am being more positive again and thus wonder what the hell he CAN do. He has, in truth, few options on the field. Guess he may turn to youth as he did last season.
  6. We have to solve the striker problem without funds. I see little attempt to do so. True options are limited but three are out there somewhere, viz 1 Recruit from non league. I know about fitness but a real go for goal striker giving us 30 minutes a match would be a definite improvement. are we allowed to do this? Might have to wait to January 2 Go with Bell for a span of matches, or go with one of our other junior strikers. Again an hour of Bell is surely worth 90 minutes of Martin 3 Train one of our midfield to be a striker. We have done this before - Reid was not bad! And long ago we did it with Tommy Burden when stretched. Scott, Palmer, Massengo. OK I agree nowhere near ideal but we can’t keep hitting our head against the same brick wall with the same outcome0
  7. Sadly unlikely to be with us

    HAHAHA

Lack of a captain capable of rallying the troops - again
  9. Thanks for helpful personal comment. Just put your thinking cap on for a moment and you will see that sadly I am right
  10. My reference is not to this one match but to no home wins since he took over He’s the boss the buck on the pitch stops with him. Agreed the bigger problem is SL, though
  11. I am a big supporter of Nige but how can he survive this?
  12. The problem is not one loss to top team, nor Is it Nige; the problem is two decades long and lies at the very top. SL has spent millions and failed to achieve his aim through appointment of poor managers, letting others go, allowing his son to be Chairman of a largely non existent Board, allowing the club to consistently buy the mediocre, failing to bring new money in, obsessed by BS. OK, at last he has brought in the manager we needed, and has begun talking about new backers, both real positives. As supporters we need to get behind both these moves, ie support Nige through next 3 transfer windows and keep pressing re new monies. Always believe whatever the evidence is to the contrary

    O’Dowda

Sadly O’Dowda will never be good enough. Hasn’t improved since he arrived. He definitely needs to be moved on. Pring has time to improve. Talking of younger players we need, IMO, to give Bell a run of four games or so. He really can’t have less to offer than Martin, whose best days are now far behind him, or Wells for that matter, another never good enough - sometimes looking as tho he might be but constantly then disappointing. We truly have bought cheap and paid the price for that. Atkinson and Tanner are exceptions but we had Nige here when they came in - another reason to trust in Nige.
  14. Perhaps we could sell JL to Ipswich to fund a centre forward in next window. On second thoughts probably wouldn’t raise enough cash
  15. Another slide down the slippery slope for English football. Total lack of moral compass.
  16. What a really solid first ten games. NP is turning it round. He does what it says on the packet. Excellent appointment of Assistant Manager too. Credit to him today as well. Could easily have done a Johnson with terrible subs and playing 10 in our own penalty area. We also seem to have a few really quality players coming through. So pleased Tanner scored. Looked a good take for a fullback.
  17. Well they fought to the end. That in itself is a huge improvement on recent years. onwards and upwards. CTID
