Semenyo is not a striker they score goals
Ivorguy replied to Better Red's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
Think it is impossible to pass judgement given the poor quality coaching and tactics Would be interesting to see what a new manager would achieve with these players -

Don’t believe he will ever be a top striker. No evidence of that. More likely, He will drop down the divisions just like Wes Burns. We need to replace in January if possible. -

The old Glos Cup pre season between City and Rovers was far better for us than present set up
-
Untrue. We have had a number of games below 7k. Lowest against Millwall on 12th May 1984 which we won 4-1: 2696 attendance.

I am not calling you sad, I am calling the views sad, and the general unpleasantness exhibited as sad. It has nothing to do with football and supporting City. It is just childish, thuggish, and decidedly unpleasant and uncalled for. No more on this from me, because sadly some won't, or even can't, understand why others of us find such views repugnant
-
You will!
-
I am more concerned about the beam in our eyes than the mote in theirs
-
Well I certainly wouldn't want to be on the high seas with some on here. Hardly shipshape and Bristol fashion
-
Perhaps when you and others are older you will realise how silly you sound
-
I just give up with the level of vitriol Corinthian Spirit truly dead in Bristol then, save for some of us oldies who still remain true to the standards of the 40s and 50s. Atyeo and Bradford must be spinning in their graves at the views expressed here, if you can call them that. Makes me feel ashamed to be a City supporter in this age of hate.
-
And you call yourself a Bristolian and a football supporter, and yet you want one of the city's clubs to go out of business. How very very sad
-
Just a little contrary note to strike. I hope things improve for Rovers and they begin to challenge us The old rivalry was good to watch, good for the success of both clubs, and good for football in the city Why young supporters under fifty should be so bitter is way beyond my understanding, but then again at my age much is beyond my understanding from Brexit onwards!

Still feel we need ten games before we can begin to judge the players Judging the owner and the manager is quite a different matter -

If true, most worrying. Really inexplicable given need for team morale and togetherness. Unless of course it was Lee travelling by train on his own -

Anyone else got an odd feeling that LJ may already be half out the door? Holden' s pre match interview sounded more like that of a Head Coach, whereas LJ's last interview almost appeared to be a 'back me with more money (not happened as far as we know re any loan coming in) or sack me' Don't think things are too happy behind the scenes with LJ But guess most if not all of you suspect I am seeing trouble where there isn't any anyone know whether SL will be at tonight's game? -
