  1. Proper old school pro . Not many around like him and well thought of by Nige , Liam and our fan base . Hope he stays on and hangs up his boots , looks unlikely though . Be interested to see where he ends up going if he carry’s on playing .
    Good luck Kingy !!

  2. What an astute signing . It wasn’t working out for the lad but now he looks class . Technically very gifted and uses his body well . Lots of room to improve loads more which will only benefit us . Super just super

Think what has become apparent in the last two games is that you get a balance in your two no10s (in the 3421) perming 2 from 3:

    • Twine the technical passing no10
    • Mehmeti the dribbling no10
    • Sykes (on form) the running no10

And you need different ways to open up difference teams.

So whoever we get if it’s not Twine, needs to be Twine-like imho.

    +++++

The slight confusion for me is that if Twine / Conway is the combo Manning is so keen to keep, and signs last week that TC gets service from ST in this set up…does the “no9” profile we’ve been told fit that.

Lets just try really hard to keep TC.

Makes sense depending on how we set up and types of 10 . I really hope we keep Tommy .

  4. I thought Twine was good yesterday, nice free kick . His loan has been ok and I can see a player who is better than what we’ve got in his position. Has he done enough to justify a move and fee I’m not sure .

  5. Bored rigid of watching Bristol city under Manning and Pearson. As a product it’s no better than the last season under LJ. At times under both managers I thought I could see progress at times only for us to regress .
I used to enjoy home games but now I only go as I’ve already paid for my tickets

Our loss was definitely WBA's gain. Gutted when we let him go 😭 Would've won the title that fateful year if he hadn't got injured in the run. The sags couldn't believe their luck. Scored a worldie v crewe, think we won 4-2 & he done his hamstring in the process?

I remember when he limped off @ Bolton early and with that the title was gone . Met him on a few occasions and what a lovely guy . Didn’t think he was good enough to step up while here but proved me wrong elsewhere .
His hat trick at the Vetch was a great night and one my best away days, locals not best pleased with the result 😉

Isn't that weird. I rushed like hell for Friday, really enjoyed it but hated Saturday. 3 hours of shopping with Mrs Junkie, cost me a fortune! 😓

Let’s get back to a Saturday then !

West town were a lot of city young uns & parkway were rovers I used to play against them in the early 80’s . Jason Drysdale played for them amongst others .

I vaguely recall that now . I was never good enough for any of them teams !!

My bro had a trial at City and showered with Alan Walsh 😮😀
