  1. I like Pearson and thought it was a great appointment of a manager who was experienced and had been to the promise land of the Prem.  The product on the pitch is even worse than the last year old LJ and the time we had under Holden. At times this season I saw things that led me to believe that we where starting to improve . That has now vanished and our players have relapsed back to the relegation form we showed last season . I don’t believe this is the worst group of players we’ve ever had , they can play a bit abut the table doesn’t lie.
It’s a massive task and if I’m being honest I’m leaning toward the boss is too old school and the players don’t like it . I’m not  sure how long i can keep watching these wretched performances.

  2. More important is what the gaffa thinks of the lad and not our opinions!!!
Never heard of him before so was very surprised to see him come on  . A winning start to his first team debut.  He wasn’t afraid to keep hold of the ball and yes he came unstuck with that !

  3. I had no problem with the ref yesterday, here let the game flo and was consistent for both sides. Some decisions could’ve gone our way but didn’t but that’s football. It mattered so much yesterday and tensions were running high .

    Fair and balanced post.

The thing that really gets on my nerves is the knee- jerk reaction when we lose playing not that great is the NP out posters. Apart from the fact that he has inherited a sxxt show and our FFP constraints, the question that I ask but have yet to have an answer to is ‘ and replace him with who exactly?’.

NP is a highly experienced football manager and it looks to me, but I am not ITK, that the owner has given him TOTAL control of the football side of the club.

I think in time he will get us where we want to be but, it will take time.........AND patience - a quality sadly lacking with some on here.

Good stuff. It’s a lot worse than I thought the problems we have . Top to bottom needs sorting out . Hope he brings in a couple in January.  Football fans in general not too patient not just ours!!

  5. We always have an element and I was sat directly in front of the confrontation. Throughout the match a few of ours where having discussions with the stewards about how they handled our supporters, I can agree with some of it but not all of it . When it was obvious we wouldn’t get much joy the stewards became their main occupation rather than the football. Easy to make all away game unreserved seating but that also might split up groups who want to sit together. As for the sitting on your seat it’s hard to police or is it even worth trying ?‍♂️

  6. Footballs all about opinion and those that want Nigel out are entitled to their views, it doesn’t make then clueless as they don’t conform to others ideas. I like Pearson and he’s pretty blunt at times but overall he’s doing a decent job with what he’s got.  Like any manager he will make mistakes and do I agree with everything he does , no.

Yep, Tanner stuck to his task though, I though Pring was too naive with his defending.  He’s used to having that yard of pace to get him out of trouble….today Lowe had the yard on him.

All a learning curve I suppose . Best side I’ve seen at Ashton Gate this season , very good on the eye

Maybe he didn’t have a clear view from wherever he was, but I can assure Nige that from the Dolman you could clearly see young Tanner have a nightmare first half.

Both fullbacks exposed by clever running and nice passing and movement .
