  1. No, he's never done it before has he? Oh duh... he has. He's got promotion before from this division. We dropped to the bottom half, but your bosses knew full well, we had to winnable games coming up, so sacked him, knowing we'd likely be back in the top half. Say hi to Jon Lansdown for me.
  2. Think you are missing the point that over 90% were unhappy at the sacking of NP - Despite approving of the appointment of LM
  3. One buzz word. I watched it after you and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of buzz words and platitudes. He definitely didnt use that word that much. You have decided, that he's like LJ because you have made your mind up. I see little similarities.
  4. We've always given managers plenty of time. Pearson is the first one, we've sacked early. First time, hardly any fans were calling for the sack.
  5. Er what?? He improved the squad every season, while slashing the wage budget. He was only here 2 and a half years. We were looking down and come the end, we were looking up. Absolutely deserved to get a chance at the next phase of getting into the play-offs.
  6. @W-S-M Seagull Just watched his press conference and he's nothing like Lee Johnson. Not in any way. Poor comparison
  7. You didnt get anything out of his employment? he saved you from going down and got you pushing for promotion... You better go buy some tampons pal.
  8. People saying its underwhelming?? Personally I'm relieved. Relieved we didnt get a big name like Lampard who is living off his playing career.
  9. Hoping and thinking he will do a good job for us... Has my full support. If it goes wrong... Lansdown out.
  10. Loved Curtis' postivity and enthusiasm. Another good guy leaving the club. All the best.
  11. I have my suspicions. One in particular, who was called out, but made a joke out of it. Definitely alot of PR and propaganda being deployed.
  12. It was a decision that didn’t need to be made. I like the manning appointment - but i can’t forget the decision to sack Pearson and the ridiculous reason and the delusion to go with it. Manning has my full support, but if we struggle this season or next season, then that’s on the Lansdowns.
  13. Yep. I’m pretty much at the point of calling for the Lansdowns to go. If this does not go well, it’s down to them
  14. When city fans say we've gone for the "cheap option" Such a dumb thing to say There is no such thing! A bad manager will cost a club millions in the long run
  15. Is he? EVERY manager started somewhere! Think thats what he was alluding to
  16. Pearson was sacked because we have a top 6 squad - Brian TInnion and Jon Lansdown
  17. You would have said the same when Eddie Howe was appointed as head coach at Bournemouth in League 2.. Personally i would be less optimistic if we appointed a bigger name - because if they were all that, they wouldnt end up here. Give me a fairly unknown manager that has shown some ability, all day long
  18. But he was a great player!! So ignore that!
  19. What has Lampard done thats impressive. I keep asking, but ive not got a proper answer other than a good start at chelsea.
  20. A win record like his at any level is impressive. He may or may not be able to translate that to the championship, but it is a good sign
  21. And you wanted Lampard Glad you arent making the decisions. Manning has show alot of promise. Lampard hasnt. Despite having a ridiculous amount of resources and talent. Go and look at their win percentages aswell.
  22. To say i'm relieved is an understatement.
