  1. Extremely harsh. New in the job and probably very nervous.
  2. Agreed. That was 10 months ago. Were in a different place now. Fanbase are looking up, instead of looking down
  3. Its not our opinion we are defending. We are saying Nigel Pearson and Dave Rennie have had huge success with Leicester - they have more expertise than Jon Lansdown and Brian Tinnion. Thats not me or any of us, saying that us fans know more.
  4. Lots of injuries - but most have come during games? - you cant avoid those impact injuries.
  5. Just watched all 42 minutes To be fair, i think Jon Lansdown was on a hiding to nothing. Whatever he said, was going to be criticised. I was really disappointed by this interview - it felt like two mates down the pub having a chat. To be fair to Joe, he's new in the job - so asking the hard questions, was never really going to happen. My thoughts for what its worth: They spoke about social media - couldnt care less They spoke about communication - couldnt care less. Said they want whats best for the club - I do actually believe that. He criticised the time off during international breaks - Sorry Jon, but i trust Dave Rennie and Nigel Pearson, alot more than you. They have more expertise and have been there and done it. Spoke that alot of the Alex Scott money, that they were going to spend, was spent before hand, so they werent held to ransom - i accept that and thought that was the case. Spoke about where we are in the table - think this is gaslighting. Two of the more easier games coming up - win those and we are top half - the timing of this sacking and then complaining about league position - you are trying to pull the wool over our eyes.
  6. I’m going to listen to the interview with an open mind. But i gotta feeling, it’s going to be another car crash interview
  7. Derby already were top 6. He couldn’t improve with the chelsea players he added. Zero improvement Chelsea - he inherited a very good squad thanks to a exceptional academy. Pressure off he qualified. But this on its own isn’t enough The rest of his managerial career, he hasn’t done anything impressive. In fact he has lost ALOT of games Manning is a big gamble, but he has shown promise and is on the way up, instead of on the way down like Lampard. Lampard has no substance, other than having a superb playing career. Which isn’t really relevant
  8. Neither! Someone who has shown a bit of managerial ability, is not asking too much.
  9. I know our board ****** up sacking pearson - but i dont think there that stupid... Surely?
  10. Sacked by Cheltenham Town...
  11. Ashton gate announcement, not bristol city
  12. Yeah but for the stadium not bristol city
  13. The sun article is based on bristol post article - which does not say hes about to take over
  14. 3 clubs. One of which two spells.
  15. But at least he's had impressive spells and success. Severely lacking on Lampards CV
  16. Whether he did it or the board did it - he was the manager whilst there was massive cuts being made.
  17. 2 and a half years. Cut the age budget and we are looking up the table as opposed to when he come in. So no. Harshly sacked.
  18. Other than a good start to his chelsea career... can you show me where he's actually improved a team? He's living off his name. We need to avoid. Point is, all he's done is failed and theres a lack of anything impressive in his career. If his name wasnt frank lampard - we wouldnt be talking about him.
  19. Point is. Derby already had a good team. Lampard had the luxury of bringing players such as mason mount and tomori... and didnt acheive anything more.
  20. He inherited players from an incredible academy... and got lucky with that... i mean he's not done anything since, other than fail - so it looks like he was forunate to inherit exceptionally good young players
  21. Context - they finished 6th - in the play-offs the season before. So he didnt "take" them anywhere - they were already ay that level. Even with chelsea loans, he couldnt improve them at all.
  22. Too big? no one said that? Is he a good manager? has he done anything other than fail? no. Nothing to do with club size.
