  1. Just looked at the online store. Either I’m blind or I’m seeing they’ve got nothing in yet in terms of training or leisure wear? Not that I’d buy. But find that rather odd and even amateurish if so!
  2. Precisely. Haaland thrives off the early ball either played to his feet or whipped from the wings high or low. Not a target man at all. I had this conversation last week with my grandfather who turned around and commented that "what City need is a big target man up front". To which I explained they don't, and that football has now evolved on from the standard big lump up front. He had some understanding of my points but it's a different generation of fan use to a different generation of football. Just shows how much of an impact Pep has had on thee english game and how far we've now come!
  3. Fresh challenge too. Done it all at Man City now. So don’t blame him
  4. Controversial opinion but I can see the clubs point. It was an amazing achievement to get promoted given the circumstances. But not one they should have been in. They've limped across the finishing line to get where they've wanted. Evidently the board do not feel Moore is the one to lead them any further and may feel there is a big risk next season of very quickly losing their Championship position and fall back into league one if he remained. Cut-throat decision? Absolutely. Football is a business after all. Business is business.
  5. It’s odd because the plastic fans argue with each other while making constant digs rather than focus on the football itself. They genuinely do not have a clue.
  6. To be fair, we’ve seen quite a few make the move over to Europe in the last 6 years or so. I hope it continues and it will only benefit their careers and English football all together. One to watch is Iling-Junior at Juventus.
  7. It’s literally the best team for him to go to. Class side if they add Kane or Mbappe. I’d rather Camavinga in place of Tchouameni in midfield. But believe you are right
  8. A very valid point. If sales do slump and not reaching their target. I hope the club take action and look at another supplier
  9. How long are we tied in for? Sooner it’s cut. The better. Who ever made the decision to go with O’Neills and agreed to the badging along with the style of kit. Should be removed from their positions. Total cock up.
  10. And under more of the spotlight. Not that he wasn’t under Celtic but this is a different level. Interesting times ahead. Could prove to be an utter genius move or another embarrassing fault from Levy.
  11. It's been highlighted Postecoglou likes to play attractive attacking football. That's all well and good for a side like Celtic who can play any style they like and still win the SPL. That approach will not always work in the PL with the squad they have. One of the big questions will be can Postecoglou change his setup and approach to the bigger teams such as Man City, United, Liverpool etc. If they go for this attacking approach against the likes of Man City. They are going to get slaughtered.
  12. Kane to Real Madrid. Seems a given to me now.
  13. With Spurs announcing Postecoglou as manager. Is this a disaster in the waiting and potential repeat of giving Nuno the job? Did no other manger really want the Spurs job due to the constraints working with Levy? Would any other of the big clubs taken on Postecoglou? My feeling is no. Must feel rather daunting being a Spurs fan. I will be surprised if he surpasses his 2 year contract.
  14. Thanks Dave. Knew you would Does not read well does it? If you were to split green as successful and red as unsuccessful. You would have enough red lines to paint the major roads as a no stop zone.
  15. Likes of Brownhill and Webster were great signings. But how many were on that level? Old saying goes. Throw enough shit, some will eventually stick. @Davefevs I don’t suppose you have a list of incomings during the Johnson reign? Including loans. I can’t think of many we could deem successful.
  16. But was that money well spent? No Did other teams go through 70 odd players over those few years also? Not that I know but I highly doubt it. There was only one real high with Lee Johnson and it was the cup run against Man U. Then the position prior to Wolves. Over than that. It was awful
  17. Brentford home game New Year’s Day? Think we got paced 4-0 and Brentford dominated for 90 minutes. That was the game you really could see the difference in class and where Brentford were heading. They were the ones with the identity that Johnson always banged on about.
  18. Did other mangers have as much spending power as LJ, Dave? That is why in my eyes. Johnson was a massive failure here. If he didn’t have the money to throw around. I’m confident he would have taken us down to league one
  19. I seen this the other day from Neil Warnock when speaking about Pep at Man City. It made me think of Johnson straight away. You can talk all the lingo you want and you may be a clever tactician etc. However, if you lack man management skills. All means nothing. Which is what LJ does not have.
