Er, two FA Cups, old First Division runner-up in the mid 60s.  They've spent more of their life as a club in the top flight than out of it.

I'm not a big fan of the living-in-the-past Forest fans, but Nottingham is a big enough city to deserve at least one club in the Premier League. As is Bristol of course.

I agree and wonder why it’s taking so long for you to get in the premiership

WBA straight up the motorway, 500m from the junction.
Birmingham, leave the motorway south of Birmingham, endless slog through the outskirts of Birmingham , then half the ring road.
Or, more succinctly, the m’way runs west of Brum; WBA is on the west side, St Andrew’s the east.
Not sure what way you’d go from Swindon mind!!

Cheers Dave, I've been to West Brom & Villa but didn't know what part of Birmingham St Andrews was in. Similar journey as you guys picking up the M5 at Gloucester

Sean Dyche must be having a little smile to himself right now. What Burnley need now is an experienced manager at Championship level to get them back in the Premier League….. Oh!

I don't see them doing a Fulham & Norwich and bouncing straight back

He certainly had a moment of madness in that game, but - from what I saw- it was pretty much handbags and far, far from the worst thing I have seen on a football field.

As for his state of mind at the time, who knows? Unfortunately, I can tell you from experience that losing a child can really - unsurprisingly- **** with your head, and it becomes very easy to lash out- both physically and metaphorically - at times you normally wouldn't. I don't think for one second, that Darrell Clarke is a thug.

Fair point you make and as stated above he may be better off away from the side of the pitch when they play at Wembley incase things don't go for Port Vale

Yes, and in the most tragic of circumstances too.  Still, the Swindon fan thinks it's quite acceptable to label him as a "thug".

Absolutely for his thuggery but condolences to him and his family for his tragic loss

On the night yes he was an allegeged thug. If he wasn't in the right frame of mind emotionally then he shouldn't have been involved on the touchline.

Maybe your emotions would still be a bit off kilter if you'd recently lost a child.  The first thing he did when interviewed was to apologise to all concerned.

Not disputing what he's been trough but you can't assault someone and expect to get away with it by saying sorry.

I bet you took a few back in Hoddles play off era Shaun

The play off the Sags have never got distant sight off , let alone competed in

Similar amounts in both play off finals in 1990 & 1993. Also took loads way back in 1969 when we beat Arsenal.

How many are you taking to Wembley Shaun??

If we had made it approx 35,000 but that would have been actual fans and not a fictitious number.

No problem not making it more pi**sd off that one of your ex managers allegedly headbutted our captain but shouldn't really be surprised as you like employing thugs.

They are losers that's why. Cannot accept that other people have different opinions to their own.

Anyway on to today. Wycombe will win this one, but yes Sunderland are indeed Massive.

Sunderland and Newcastle both massive with fantastical fans and starved of success.

It’s not going to be irrefutable and nor does it have to be to go to Court.

What we do know however is that Mrs Barton phoned the Police to report that she had been violently assaulted by her husband who just happens to be a man with history of violence.

When they arrived they found that she had injuries consistent with her report and was recorded by the Police on body worn video repeating that her husband had forced her to the ground by her throat during a heated argument and kicked her in the head.

Unfortunately he’ll likely be found not guilty as his wife has now changed her story.

But then maybe he’s been innocent all along? Maybe Mrs Barton accidentally slipped and inflicted shocking injuries on herself just like that Barnsley manager apparently did? Poor misunderstood Joey, all these people trying to bring him down including his own wife, I dunno...

Barton & Amber Heard a marriage made in heaven?

I was only jesting ?. Got nothing against your lot personally and all the best for next season. I hope for your fans sake your club is in better hands. PS get a roof over the Stratton Bank ?

None taken and I expect a little stick/humour?

Plans are In place to start work on the Stratton bank roof in a years time.

    As they do ?

I won't desert them and will be there next season. Not good enough on the night and yes we had our chance in the penalty shoot out and more than we could have hoped for after Power left us in the quagmire. Re-group  and start again with plenty of positives going forward and hopefully the fanbase will only get bigger.

Wow to think there could have been two teams in the top flight with a combined capacity of 6000 less than Ashton Gate makes it all the more frustrating that despite half decent support we look no nearer getting there ourselves I notice that your lot had over 14000 the other night what is the capacity of the county ground these days?

It's around 14,700 we sold all of our tickets but Port Vale didn't sell 600 out of their allocation

Swapped home and away ends for this game so Swindle are up the other end for this one.

We did ask for the normal away end but they didn't want to give us 4000 tickets as that would limit the home capacity
