Absolutely right - we’ve seen other lower league signings not being able to adapt to the quality of the Championship but……Nige wasn’t the manager when the likes of Akinde, Eisa and Szmodics ( although he’s done pretty well at Posh since) were at City.

My concern is who’ll we’ll see move on - HNM is almost certainly off, probably back to France. City may well get offers for Scott and Semenyo that just can’t be turned down and AS in particular would be a big loss….:fingerscrossed: that we can keep him for another season and based on last season performances he’s very likely to get even better.

Listening to the new signings they all said how impressed they were the HPC facilities and ‘the manager’. It’s really good to have a ‘proper’ manager at long last who’s well respected by his players - the first one since Danny Wilson……….:whistle2:

Every signing that there has ever been anywhere says the same thing so take it with a pinch of salt. Media training.

Great news, that we have signed one of our targets on a free..

But where does this leave George Tanner? Will be loaned out?

I doubt it, he’s the only natural cover in that position

I don't want to sound negative but until the club officially announce it, I'm trying to stay calm ?

    I still remember Nketiah ?

    What happened ??

Serious question. Is white an issue for people with colourblindness? I know very little about this condition, never known anyone with it (by that I mean a friend or relative) so I am pretty much ignorant apart from being aware of the obvious red/green yellow/blue used in simple tests.

If white is a serious issue as I think you are saying, what colour kits are the best options. I guess the condition must vary so much for each individual its difficult to say but is white one of the worst options?

I was referring to green. I’m pretty ignorant to it aswell but it was highlighted over the course of the last season on here. As I understand it if the two teams playing are in red and green respectively then they cannot be distinguished between which must be incredibly frustrating. I think the club were made aware so hopefully it hasn’t fallen on deaf ears - that would be a real shame

Bristol world reporting that our new shirt will be unveiled on Monday evening, let's hope it's with a new signing wearing it!

Are they? Can’t find it. Hope it’s true!

    Really?!

Well how come they've never caught me for my one man crimewave of knock-knock-ginger throughout backwell and the surrounding areas in the mid 90s? Obviously can't be that good ?

Haven’t heard that phrase for some time!?

I know our police don't have the greatest reputation in the world, but a quick investigation into the bloke would uncover this in about 3 seconds!

Actually the UK police are widely regarded as the best in the world by most other countries!

I'm strangely content about next season already.

    GK: Bentley, O'Leary

CB: Atkinson, Klose, Cundy, Kalas, Vyner

    WB: Dasilva, Pring, Tanner, Scott

    MF: Williams, James, Massengo, Benarous

    F: Martin, Wiemann, Semmenyo, Wells

Plus the other u23s not listed above.

May not set the world alight but if Pearson can get things moving should be interesting.

Baker will never play again - no manager would be stupid enough to let him get a third potentially life changing/fatal head injury.

That leaves nothing in terms of the bench. I think we’ll say permanent goodbyes to Baker, Vyner, Wells, Palmer, O’Dowda, Bakinson and King so there will be some funds gained there through sales/wages not being paid.

Scott needs to be used as a CM in one form or another. So a RB is an absolute necessity as well as the re-signings of Klose/Cundy.

On top of that we need to address the issue of width in the squad to give us another problem to cause opposition.

I’d imagine another striker is also on the list.

With all that in mind you’d have to think one of Semenyo/Massengo/Scott will be sold. In an ideal world which ever one goes will also need replacing. I’d like to keep them all but if I had to pick I’d probably let HNM go circa 8-10million.

  8. Ref watch on sky sports says referee was correct. This was based on playing an advantage after the first foul as the player had lots of space to run into. The second foul is the players decision and referees aren’t fortune tellers so there’s no way of knowing what could have happened when playing the advantage.
