Pearson got it spot on tonight. He nullified the Forest wingbacks which was key to stopping them and he had a significantly weaker squad than usual to pick from. In my opinion we were deservedly one up when we should of had a penalty and following that, Samba has pulled off a terrific save from Wells. Small Margins, if they had gone our way it’s 3 points to City. The team capitulated in stoppage time and the buck stops with the players there, Nige can only set them up, he can’t play the game for them aswell.

Always works hard off the ball but people only ever look at his goal return. He certainly has areas to improve but he’s a first X1 player for me and all our managers since he was signed seem to agree

I think he’s under rated. LWB could be perfect for him but I expect him to flourish under Pearson (who rated him enough to start him on the opening day). He has to have a big season though. I used to be laughed at for rating Bobby Reid……

There was allegedly an issue between Kalas and Baker so I’d imagine Kalas understandably felt a bit aggrieved when we resigned Baker. Maybe he wants out.

Strange how so many people are outraged at Giggs and yet were equally outraged at the CPS for charging Caroline Flack when there was overwhelming evidence against her for domestic assault. That’s not aimed at this forum by the way, just an observation from the media etc.
