The sooner McNally gets up to speed the better, or play Roberts. Naismith as a replacement for Dickie is an absolute no no from me.

I did see that the predominantly unnoticed winner also ended up over with the paramedics with some sort of calf injury post event, and that both protagonists left the ground together in seemingly high spirits.
Early days I know, but we didn't have these sort of shenanigans when Downsy was at the helm. A total lack of control!

I watched the second half.
It was really poor.
Hardly any passing sequences or pattern of play, just lump it up top.
Crap football, I hope we meet them in a cup this season, we'll thrash 'em.
I don't wanna play those *****...

Went in the Willow Garden a few times and always good, but Evelyn's was always my Bedminster chippy of choice back in the day.
Argus still decent on West Street though...

Looking at the EFL official retained list for clubs on their website. We look a bit light, but christ Rovers will have to sign another 10 players with a reduced budget.
Their scholars are all 16-18 year olds with no real Senior men's football team experience at all.
A lot of gasheads I work with are fearing the worst for next season and have no faith in Taylor already.
Lovely info, great read first thing on a Sunday morning!
Thank you @NcnsBcfcย that's set me up for the day.

I hated that Sag team soooo much - Fruity Francis, Freddy Twentypence, Lazarus Penrice, Skeletor, Thug Alexander (don't swallow yer dentures), crap moustaches all round etc etc. Still brings me out in a cold sweat just thinking about them. Hated Devon White too, but clearly not as much as his neighbour (allegedly). Then again I suppose they did have a bit about them if they're so easy to remember.ย
That 0-3 was absolutely horrendous. Don't think I went to Trumpton again until the 4-2 win. My god that was sweet though!

Plus the fact that their wealthy kebab shop owner is cutting their budget presumably because, er . . he hasn't actually got any, will guarantee plenty of guffaws and will keep this thread nicely on page 1.
I love a kebab now and again, but do we know which kebab shop he owns?
Cos I ain't buying one from him.

I watched the majority of the Fewers match this afternoon. 2-0, and they were lucky to get nil. Is it 14 players likely to leave in the summer? Monotone Matt has a huge rebuilding job on his hands, with question marks hanging over his ability, irrespective of a potential 25% cut in the playing budget. Things ain't looking that good.....
******* marvellous news!!!

I've been told that Jamie McAllister has been sacked after he allegedly headbutted someone at the awards evening.
Seen the above on twitter, could be bollocks
ย
I thought it was just minibuses they liked headbutting
Whilst I do not condone this type of behaviour in any way it seems extremely out of character for Mr McAllister to behave in such a fashion.
I can only presume that's what happens when an individual spends any length of time in the company of those morons.
Yet another reason to steer well clear. I know I will...

Ignoring who it is for the moment, they need some continuity . They need to give someone the chance to get foundations in place, to start to build. `A little like Nige did with us, get the Club set and start to build with an eye on the future . They need to start thinking about 2/3 years time and begin getting a squad together and improve over a season or two.
That's if the new owner isn't going to throw miยฃยฃions at them and buy a new squad in one go .ย
Your post constitutes sound advice 1960 - something I wouldn't share with those turds at any time.
Let 'em rot and suffer. Tossers...

If we continue at this rate of improvement I fancy top 6 at least next season. Really excited to see what Liam can achieve with a pre season and a striker!
Steady on now...!

Agree.
do we have any lingering concerns over fitness or has that been put to bed?
I'd say his availability record this season pretty much answers that question mate.
