They seem to be under the impression that because they've got a new "stand" a couple of thousand extra people will suddenly be attending games

Absolutely dreadful place! I don't mind a bit of KFC now and again but that branch is shocking. Last visit (a couple of years ago) I returned a Boneless Banquet as it was literally a chickenless banquet.
My recommendation (FWIW) is if you want KFC in South Bristol Hengrove is far superior...

You make it seem a lot better than it was to watch on Robin's TV
I don't necessarily agree FR. I too watched via an iFollow stream, and thought we looked ok (not great but ok) for nearly two thirds of the game.
Ole's assessment is pretty much spot on IMO...

Whilst I am pissed right off with our result and performance at Preston these goons rarely fail to disappoint.
Is something "special" still happening in Sagland?

How many knee jerk reactions on here? Yes it was crap defending, but FFS get a grip...

As an aside, I mean no disrespect to anyone affected by the atrocities of WW2 and apologise if I have caused any offence.
Thanks Ska. I am not offended myself but am vehemently offended on behalf of many others.
I'm just not sure who...

How do you know that? I personally know four gasheads who refused to attend games whilst Joey was in charge - they went to watch Yate Town or Mangotsfield instead - but I wouldn’t pretend to know what the “majority of gasheads thought” - you obviously know better ...
I'd be embarrassed to admit I know 4 Sags...

Was up in the top corner of the East End with me Dad and nextdoor neighbour in those days, and remember the atmosphere as unreal all round the ground.
I remember the smell of stale booze, fags and piss from the uncovered bogs in the East End. Also remember a white number 6 on one of the red East End pillars, the same as the back of Norman Hunter's shirt.
Unforgettable days...

I was a mascot back in the dark dodgy days of the early 80's. They let us in the changing room after the game, Tom Ritchie spent ages talking to the Old Man.
Top bloke, Happy Birthday Tom!

Probably the best result of the Christmas period
Indeed a fantastic ending.
Although if I'm honest I rather enjoyed the Watford result, even if it feels a lifetime ago...

Is it just me or does tomorrow feel huge? I have a habit of feeling like this about every game we play but tomorrow just feels massive to me.
No Championship football for two weeks after New Year’s Day, as it’s FA Cup next weekend and our trip to WHU. We could spend those two weeks just outside the play-off places, potentially even in them. A two weeks when we can bring in reinforcements and see some big players back from injury. We beat Millwall tomorrow and we’ll be well placed for a full blooded assault on the PO’s in the second half of the season and the fanbase will be really believing.
So let’s get right into them. They have a few injuries and suspensions and apparently they’re only bringing 600, let’s drown them out completely and start 2024 as we mean to go on. COYFR ️️
Love it @BCFCGav!
I love my team! COYR!!! x

I have no inside knowledge whatsoever, but here are a couple of examples /rumours I've heard indicating money may be as tight as a gnats nadger up at the "Mem Stad".
1. A manager with no coaching team of his own. Surely that would be a given?
2. Rumour JCH "hated" P'boro and was desperate to return to Bristol, yet we all know how that turned out.
3. A woman in work who told me her dad is a raving Sag but unfortunately wheelchair bound. Asked the club for a ramp (somewhere around the ground) for ease of access, only to be told to pay for it themselves! (Don't shoot the messenger please).
Surely Wael of Fortune and Alf have got sufficient resource? Aren't they the sixth richest club in the country?

Just got back and put this game on. Have I missed Mark Ashton fist pumping the Ipshit faithful, or will that be at the final whistle?
