It seems that they think its all about numbers, chuck in any old shite as long as there is a lot of it - regardless of the relevance.

The one above is a perfect illustration.

    Thick as a donkeys dongler.

How thick is a donkeys dongler? ?

They've installed Premium terracing, where you get to stand in an unfinished car park and can't see the game. Expectations for ticket sales are high.

That end looks better than the shite couple of tents that were there previously. It seems like the more they knock down the better it will look...

I can imagine the fruit market is currently full of sh*t heads walking their dogs claiming its an area of outstanding natural beauty"

    ?

I have no dog and think the area is a proper dump to be honest.

But for the purposes of this argument I regularly take our pooch out for a stroll in those beautiful surroundings. Same as those tossers did with the Long Ashton village green debacle.

Never miss an opportunity, and never forget.

I used to work with a women with a prosthetic leg, and she would tell us that she would book extra leg room seats on a flight, which I could never quite work out as she was only 5ft tall!

Reminds me of the old Paul McCartney/Heather Mills joke.

Apparently one year he bought her a plane...

And a ladyshave for the other leg...?

  5. Went tonight, was impressed with the tempo. Agree that Clark showed well in the first half, and thought the no.10 (Churchley?) looked willing and mobile (although I'd possibly look mobile against certain opposition). Francois seemed to find it relatively easy when he came on.

As for Kadji I agree about a couple of decent touches, but that was about it for me. I've heard it said that Sam Bell has spent the summer in the gym. My opinion is that Dylan would benefit from the same before this opportunity passes him by...

Nice pint of Thatchers on offer too...?

  6. Although Chris's best days in a City shirt were before my time I still remember him fondly from the late 70's onwards. What has surprised me is reading Wikipedia (assuming it's correct) about his life after football - some real struggles there for sure.

Nothing but admiration and respect for the man. South Bristol through and through.

    RIP legend...

Interesting information, please share more. As far as I know he was working as a consultant for Arther Anderson and, in his mid 20s in 1997, moved to a state oil company where his knowledge of foreign business and languages enabled him to help them get foreign financing (at a time when foreign financing companies were desperate to get into Russia). He rose up the ranks of Tatneft but was never a so-called oligarch. In 2005 he moved to London with his family and set up an oil trading company, making a lot of money on the markets traded there. He also invested in some companies back in Russia but, it appears, most of his fortune was generated during this period in London. For example, it once paid him a huge dividend (£100m off the top of my head, but that could be wrong). So, if we're classifying the London markets as a dubious source of wealth then, about your owner... Unless you have more information, in which case I'd love to hear it? Or were you basing it purely on his nationality rather than any known fact? That would say more about you than him, I think.

Well that's answered that then, how could I possibly respond to such detail? All rather defensive, sounds like you've probably dragged those facts out as proof before. Did it touch a nerve?

As for the nationality question - how presumptuous of you! Such a shame really, cos in the first part of your response you attack my post with facts and great detail. Yet you let yourself down with your final assumption.
