I agree the shirt looks shite, but won't give too hoots if we're wearing it near the top of the league this season!
Great signing, well happy. COYR!!!

Forget Bournemouth, prefer Weymouth myself.
If it was me I'd prefer Avonmouth to Bournemouth.
As previously mentioned only got where they are thanks to the backing of a dodgy Russian oligarch.

I admire your loyalty and optimism….but 5th v 14th, I know where I’d rather be!
And, yes, I know that’s before all the summer business but it’s still the last true way of measuring it. And for me the jury is still out on our summer business.
And back when we had all three fit and playing, we were achieving good top half too.
I think Palmer was the one never properly worked out here, but he’s found his role, and they’re playing to his strengths at Coventry. He’s doing well there. Dasilva I think we saw tail end of last season will always do a decent job. And Kalas is just a great defender - an area of weakness for Coventry last season. If Kalas went there, and they can keep them all fit, then I think they’d do a good job.
And, of course, they won’t cost anything like they cost us.
All spot on ID, but I'd still rather be us! Red for life!

I remember a game at Gigg Lane, with a goal from Lourenco Dasilva (I think) in front of a decent away following. Queue the usual pandemonium! Not sure what the final score was though.
Proper club, proper ground. Best of luck to 'em...

You just know it will all tick for them at Cov.
If it does work for Cov (on the basis he goes there) then good luck to them. But we tried it with those three, it didn't work and was costly. It'll cost them financially too.
I think they'll be pretty fortunate if it does come off, but we've moved on. I like where we are now and would rather be us than them.

"a large contingent behind the goal", then you'd watch the goals on Monday night's HTV News and there were about 50 people behind said goal
Colin "sizable contingent" Howlett must go back around 40 years. Just further emphasises that Sag economy with the truth is not a recent trait...

It’s almost like Cardiff & Rovers are in a competition to see who can be the scummiest club.
100% spot on.
As they flounder around craving to be what we are.
Both clubs are shitehouses...

It was watching City in those dire days that made it what it is for me. I was nine for my first game against West Ham in 76/77, and suffered relentlessly as we dropped in the years that followed, surrounded in school by bandwagon Liverpool and Man Ure fans. Siege mentality is correct, but it just made you love and fight for your team even more.
I vaguely remember a win against Bury (in division four I'm sure) where I think we won 1-0, thanks to an Alan Nicholas strike in torrential rain. The pure elation for me ranks alongside 4-2 at Trumpton and the Man Ure cup game. Tough times that made BCFC what it is for me...

He does however have a big collection of opponents body parts!!!
Agreed! Nothing used to fire me up more than a full-blooded Nathan Baker sliding challenge on a greasy surface in front of the South Stand!
Loved him as a player.

Just a thought - how likely is it that Sharton will offer the services of his legal team to spring to the aid of Mr Brown?
Shithousery of the highest order from an absolute shithouse of a club.
@Fordingbridge Pirate knows the score...

So Jailbird Joey and the Merseyside Crime Syndicate are gonna assist with Jevani Brown's rehabilitation (should he be found guilty) are they?
Brilliant! In the same vein I'm gonna ask the McCann's to do some babysitting for me, and ask Harold Shipman to keep an eye on a couple of elderly relatives.

Er. . . I wouldn't use the term rocking as that implies a sound solid structure. I'm thinking bellowing as in flapping tents in the wind. The only thing rocking would be the webbed feet morons to and fro & frothing at the mouth until they're stuck to a window.
A tent full of paedos and wife beaters, huddled together eating stale crisps and drinking out of date Fanta whilst shouting racist and offensive abuse.
And one of them wonders why his child wants to go to Ashton Gate...

Gotta be honest I've never really liked him. Remember him as a proper nasty, sneaky bastard as a player (a shame as he was a big talent), yet watching this stuff it is difficult not to be affected by how he obviously genuinely cares for Isla and her condition.
An unbelievable feat for a man his age who's previously had his own serious health issues. Fair play to him...

Yet the suckers still lap it up.
No sympathy for those t.wats...

I remember a late goal by Shelts in a midweek game at The Goldstone Ground, kept us in with a shout of the play offs I believe. Loads of City there on the terrace at the side of the pitch, and a pitch invasion I couldn't resist at the final whistle!

Receiving an acceptable bid from anyone makes no difference to me, if he's going then money is money - thank you very much.
I agree with the food chain view, however my dislike for Bournemouth is nothing to do with snobbery. It's the perception of "plucky little fighters having done soooo well against all the odds with such minimal resources, now dining at the captain's table". Bullshit! It was built with money from dubious sources.
Would I take the same? Of course! So maybe it's jealousy.
But it's certainly not snobbery...
