I hate to say I told you so….. but I told you you all months ago that Rovers new stadium will be at the fruit market.

With all due respect Spoons, as some far more knowledgeable posters than I have pointed out this news isn't exactly saying that...

You have to say well done to the marketing team for the angle of that view, it looks idyllic. Peaceful countryside, possibly with kingfishers and otters to spot from the balcony whilst the blue waters drift by.

Take a drive over the green bridge one day. The whole area is a shithole...

Four pubs now closed in the Bedminster area

The Tap and Barrel, in Dean Lane,

The London Inn pub, in Cannon Street,

    The Albert Lounge, and

The Black Cat, both in West Street

Those boozers are classic South Bristol, all four within a stones throw of each other. Disappointing but surprising they've lasted so long to be honest. All likely to become flats now, so expect the usual increase in parking and traffic issues...

    Such a bellend.

Shocking treatment of his "star" player. A clear attempt to cause unrest and facilitate a summer transfer, cos that's the only way he'll get any money to spend.

If Collins goes the Tillson record could be under threat...

Sometimes you’ve gotta clap and say what a season bottom half in League One is

One to keep an eye on next season for relegation after Collins leaves them for far less than they think they’ll get for him.

I'm sure Elliott Anderson will be pleading to go back to the tented village. That'll ensure promotion for everyone's favourite club...

See their superstar £5m rated Aaron Collins has missed out on the Wales squad.

Anyone would think he’s not as good as they claim he is…

I've watched a few of their games on ifollow, and whilst he's undoubtedly the most talented they've got he ain't that good.

    £5mill my arse...

  7. I think we all realise Nige is building not just for the now but hopefully a lasting legacy. If Andy King is the personality people are starting to think who better to hand over to when Nige feels the time is right to relinquish his position? If not King then one of the other trusted colleagues.

That scenario sounds a bit like the Anfield Boot Room to me...

  8. If DI has got any brain about him he'll grasp the opportunity of a second chance with Big Nige with both hands. IMO this is a club going places, from manager through to the young 'uns.

Get on the bus DI, and show us what you can do...?
