Apologies if this has been mentioned previously, however watching AS leave the pitch on Saturday he didn't look like someone who had played their last game for the club.
I'd therefore speculate that (at that time) there was and is nothing serious happening (bid wise), and as @petehinton has said the club would be reluctant to do a late deal with insufficient time to source a replacement.

I've found on previous occasions like this that the owner and finder will fight for the phone.
Is this a possible solution? Just trying to be helpful...

Maybe I'm being a bit stupid, but I'm struggling to understand any of that first post on asschat...

Has this been mentioned as yet?
At their AGM a person who wasn't there has reported that a person who shall not be named was asked to leave by a named director who isn't really a director.
WTF is all that about?

Lampard in line for a job with Sky. When interviewed he admitted to being a little nervous, as he's never fitted a satellite dish before.

Everton in the Championship next season would be lovely.

Aaron Collins will be out of that shithole as soon as he gets a decent offer.

Plenty of them came to get their covid jabs at the Gate though!!
Indeed Italian, but not all! I heard of a couple who deliberately sidestepped getting their jab at AG. They would rather inconvenience themselves and potentially put their health at risk than visit our magnificent stadium in person.
I suppose actually seeing the reality of "Trashton", and having to admit "it's alright I suppose" would be too much for some of the Blue Few.

Oh come on. The whole point of this thread is to take the p*ss out of another club. When you get a little push-back in return, you throw a tantrum and start stamping your feet. People who live in glass houses.....
I'm not throwing a tantrum sunshine, I've readily engaged with other Blue Few posters on this thread in the past.
I just think you are a tiresome *****...

Would you disagree with any of what I've said? Or do you really think that Bristol City being mildly less cr*p than Rovers is more important than what is happening in the Ukraine?
Your comments on here solely aimed at winding people up have nothing to do with the situation in Ukraine.
Feeble attempt to detract from the stupidity you have freely displayed...

Sweetheart...its only a game which, relatively speaking, neither Bristol club are particularly good at. For example, when I speak to people from outside Bristol, they still think of it as a rugby city.
There are much more important things happening in the world that are much more deserving of your anger - now run along and educate yourself about them.
I refer you to my previous post you *****...

Rovers were actually regarded very well by the local community in Twerton, who were sorry to see them leave. I've always seen Barf as Rovers territory for this reason.
Rovers were equally sorry to leave, as Twerton was the scene of numerous famous victories over ci*y, including the glorious 3-0 victory that confirmed us as champions of what is now L1. However, the 4-0 hammering will always have a special place in my heart.
You are a ****. You have the audacity to come on this forum and spout your shit, knowing full well how much we are open and honest enough to allow it. Well I've had enough now. I'm not advocating banning you for one minute (cos that's exactly what you are after, so you can go back to your chums and boast). But you need to realise that now is the time to **** off you sad vile dirty gas *** loser. Go and **** your dog off, or interfere with your mum or sister. Do whatever you like, but don't do it here anymore.

There's a fiddle going on here. Even thirty plus years ago we've covered our surface to ensure the game went ahead. Perhaps they'd be better off watching the local weather forecast on TV rather than Babestation.
Absolute tossers...

What's the point of using an old photograph when trying make a comparison, at least compare it to the current room if you're going to make a point.
So I presume the current room is so much better then?
Amazing what new curtains and a bit of Shake and Vac can do...
My guess is that (in keeping with the rest of your set-up) it'll still be shit...

I didn't watch the whole game live but have seen the short highlights. Bell's goal is top class. I especially like that he didn't panic even though he had plenty of time in the penalty box to start panicking!
He also set up Skyes with a quality through ball.
Having said that, I'll not change my opinion on the basis of two football highlights. Bell comes across as a boy in a man's game. Do you disagree?
Did you watch the whole game? Did he fall over a lot?
Yes, I disagree. I've always thought Sam looked a little lightweight for the first team, however last night (having watched the whole game apart from some time spent abusing Swans fans reminding them of the score, which country we are from, what they do in their spare time and that Wales lost to Iran in the WC) he more than held his own, ran hard and massively impacted the game. He also didn't fall over a lot.
Hope that answers your questions...

Thought he looked right up for it, solid looking and a couple of good strong challenges. Hopefully another home grown "club in the bag"...

Just back home, a great night out! I don't think I've ever wanted someone to score more than Sam Bell tonight. So pleased for him, and great scenes at the end!
Well played all, I ******* love my team!

Did someone say to Joey he needed a haircut for the Nick and he just got confused?
(NB fair play to them but using Jailbird Joey and that caption is an unwise juxtaposition)
No confusion there Silvio, he's had his head shaved for the nick on numerous occasions...

"Loves a tackle" - that works for me! Need a bit of that in the team since sadly we won't see a Nathan Baker challenge again.

Haven't looked, but assuming they gave all the Sags a 9 for their efforts yesterday?

That's 3742 too many - haven't been to a game since the Prem youngsters have been playing in it.
Maybe only 3742 but still plenty more than previous games in the competition. I'll believe that one or two of the Blue Few posters on here would boycott right through, but we all know the majority were getting proper little stiffies about the prospect of a trip to "Wembly".
Well chuffed they lost...

"No, I'm putting it in the living room."

Based on his actions at the end of the game I'd say he didn't consider it serious enough to show any reaction. The bids may have been serious but he would've known the clubs thought process and the implications that has on the position.
