His goals have been crucial in terms of points won as a result but his consistently has been outstanding.

Defence absolutely fine this season….we need that midfield creativity and striker in the summer, big time!

I’m sure he’s looking forward to his return to The Hawthorns next Saturday.

We/he simply must get a win on Sunday as after that, we have WBA away and then Leicester home.

Now we are only six points off of 2nd bottom with many teams below us, picking up points.

Lets hope that WBA and dare I say, Cardiff can do us a favour tomorrow night!

But since the new year it has very much been a backward trend and the slightly good things I’d been seeing early on are now nowhere in sight. 
 

I wanted to give him a bit of time, conscious that the circumstances (and unnecessary pressure) were against him from day 1. 
But I’ve now come to the conclusion that he’s had enough time. 
I can’t see any positives in the last 4-6 weeks (and the interviews in this last week have been very very telling) and it’s definitely time to move on. 
For those of you that did go early - all I can say is fair play, you got it right. 
I was just trying to be a bit more defensive of him as I wanted to afford him the time but without the prejudice (and let’s not hide, there has definitely been some prejudice). 
 

But that’s me done now. He arrived unproven and an unlikely ‘fit’ and the last 2 months has told me he’s not going to prove anything here. Time to go. 

With you @Harry - I just don’t see JL and BT wanting to admit they were wrong!

This may need intervention from SL but again, don’t see that happening either.

What a mess…..lose the next two and surely, they will have to act then.

The decision to have him playing on the left became even more bizarre when Mehmeti was brought on……

Talk about playing people in their best positions!

Interesting to see him after the game - came on the pitch, hands in pockets, didn’t join in with the other players “tapping their heads” and celebrating with their supporters….trudged off, looking really disinterested….

There’s absolutely no chance that the Board will take such a decision. That will be them admitting that they were wrong to make the change they did!

Have the Board got the balls to admit they were wrong and make such a decision - I for one, don’t think they will.

Not felt so disconnected with the club in a long time.

We are in trouble this season with Manning in charge, let alone the concerns people have next season.

Manning and his run rate over a season is 55 points, 56 at most.

This is how I see it @Mr Popodopolous - 53 to 55 points for me…..should be enough but will be regression, compared to last season.

Wonder how BT and JL will see that?!

I think that would depend on how close we were to the bottom three…..
