    A couple of points:

    1. LM has had better squad availability (but he’s also trying to embed a different style - I’m not gonna go into that)

    2. 59 points wasn’t the aim for Nige or LM

I’m not convinced we even gonna get to 59 points as things stand. Expecting/hoping to get to 54-56 points.

What will JL and BT think of that, bearing in mind what they were “expecting” from this squad when LM was appointed?

Bit of a conspiracy theory maybe- but was Twine on the bench v QPR to try to save face after the criticisms aimed at Pearson/Rennie re player availability? Also were Pring and Sykes pushed back into the starting line up despite not being ready for the same reason? Who is making the calls on player fitness?

Can’t remember many times under Nige/Rennie when a player was brought back in whilst so obviously not ready.

    Absolute shambles.

Especially Pring yesterday - he looked so off the pace, especially for someone that had only missed a couple of games

I know it’s highly unlikely REDOXO but the way we are performing I’m with you, let’s get to mathematical safety asap.

Thank god we won at Boro and beat Southampton as otherwise, it really would be squeaky bum time after the last two results! I would have hoped to have got 4 points across the QPR/Wednesday games…..how wrong was I !

Its worrying that we are still worried about relegation with a 9 point buffer and only 12 games to go - hopefully, we can get the couple of wins we need quickly but I guess, it’s a sign of the times, based on the last two games. Confidence completely evaporated, not only from some supporters but based on what I witnessed in Sheffield yesterday, a number of our players too.

And yet Conway’s chance last week at QPR was inter-play between him and Wells.  And then he said they’d worked on that in training in the build-up to the match.  So he must see something in a pairing of some shape or form, surely?

Only when we are chasing a result it seems, though @Davefevs?

I think Manning needs to decide on his “main one” now; it’s either TC or NW and then give them a run of games, rather than chopping and changing every week.

If I’m a betting person, neither with be our main striker next season as can see TC being sold in the summer (due to contract situation) and NW being even more of a bit-part squad player in his final season with us….

I'd say Swansea are more likely to of our two upcoming visitors to play up, but hopefully there'll be that old fashioned edge to the game that gets the ground rocking

Think it will be the same this Saturday. Sold out away end (2,500 or 3,400?) …… after that debacle yesterday, Manning and the players simply need to put on a Southampton-standard performance

  6. Would I back him or sack him now?

Probably have to say “back” for now, only because he’s had less than half-a-season with us but…..if this form continues, seriously think we would need to re-assess at the end of the season.

Having been at the game yesterday, I think it’s fair to say that many City fans I spoke to on the way home are of the opinion that he should go.

Clearly though, those in charge won’t want to lose face and so even if we finish in the bottom 6 (could easily happen), they will back Liam in the summer with money to spend as they won’t want to be seen to have made the wrong decision.

Hugely disappointing and frustrating times. Not sure where it will all end, either!

Think the next two home games are massive for Manning now.

Enjoy it tonight, follow it up Saturday then it gets mildly interesting………..

This…….let’s not do what we usually do…..let’s now back this up with another 3 points on Saturday

FFS! I've booked my coach tickets and made plans. It's not as if they've had 8 months to make this decision.

Share your pain @exAtyeoMax - booked my train travel a few weeks ago, assuming that the KO wouldn’t be changed at such short notice. How wrong was I !

A&S Police have a lot to answer for - don’t hold out much hope for knowing why such a late change has been made but I, along with you and many others will I’m sure, like to know why it’s been moved with less than 3 weeks before the game.

Bearing in mind we played there at 3pm, what makes a game in Bristol, needing to be policed differently?

The police make these last minute changes on purpose knowing people have made plans, booked transport for a 3pm KO. They hate football fans.

Yep, intrigued to know why the change has been made so late though……normally, these decisions are made more than a month in advance……shouldn’t be allowed so close to the game.

Hopefully, @phantom can get to the bottom of it for us 👍

I'm pretty sure that the police get the fixture list before they are published so they can have input on things like this

It is especially disappointing because on a previous SC&T monthly meeting it was stated that Swansea was seen as the only flashpoint fixture, so the question has to be asked why this changes just 18 days before kick off

The next monthly meeting will be interesting to hear an explanation

I also wonder how many will not fancy it now, it's not quiet the same having a buffet breakfast compared to an actual lunch

As above, I will ensure the question is asked to the A&S representative that attends

Thanks @phantom - can you see if A&S will provide a refund on my train travel, now that I have to make alternative travel arrangements on the day?! 😉

Great news (NOT) for anyone who has booked trains or rearranged work/childcare etc to get to this game

This…..booked my trains a couple of weeks ago!

Our game there was 3pm and so why do A&S request a change to KO time, less than 3 weeks before the game when they were announced over 6 months ago!l?

    Clueless!

Think realistically that’s automatic promotion gone, but still battled their way to another point.

Southampton are now unbeaten in their last 22 games but were booed off at HT today because they were losing, entitled or what?

Exactly that @GrahamC - think they have a right to win every week!

Lets hope we stick to them on Tuesday night
