I didn’t see/hear anything wrong with last nights interview on SOTC. The fact that the questions were hardly challenging, isn’t his fault…..I think that the Fans Forum will be more of a challenge next Monday. As others have said, he will be judged on performances and vitally, results - that’s what we all want, right? Whether we agree with NP dismissal (I didn’t), we have to give Liam a proper chance - we’ve got some tough games coming up and both he, and more importantly, the players now need our full backing.

JL certainly seemed to “cool” the requirement for top 6 and/or promotion which was ultimately why he said Nige was sacked. If this doesn’t go to plan, it’s on JL and BT - Liam on a bit of a hiding to nothing, except for his long contract! Glad we’ve appointed Nige’s replacement - let’s move on and get going again now, starting on Saturday

Agree re Manning as whoever comes in, will also be bringing in their own back room team too….often, these are the same people they are currently working with - rumours would surely have been out there by now if we were about to poach Manning and some of his back room staff

Manning would hardly be an appointment for “fans to be excited about”, something which has apparently been quoted by Tinnion! At this stage, don’t see it being him

Sounds like we will know who our new HC is tomorrow……I for one, hope there’s still a role for Curtis to play although, I somewhat doubt it! He’s well regarded by the players and that could help us in the short-medium term. Question is…..would he want to stay, now that this “mates” and people he respects (Nige, DR and JE) have all left? I doubt it….

This would be the most typical Lansdown appointment ever…….granted Oxford are doing well at present but you can’t get away from the fact that he was sacked by MK Dons last season and has no experience at this level. To go from the manager we had to this, would be underwhelming to say the least…..
