There's has been some pointing going on in the batcave watching this. In episode 3 when they're on the boat, I thought if the drone went higher, Ashton Gate may have been viable in the distance but it wasn't. Cut away too early.

Was watching the champions league game the other night and bt had an advert with Joe Cole about the impact of climate change and what "we" (as in us) can do. One of them being not flying. Course, the irony being it was champions league week where I believe that every club playing away would have flown to and from their match. These ideals are for us plebs. Not for the wealthy elite who can carry on as normal. We're the problem, not them. If they really care about the effect of flying on the climate, do away with the champions league...... Let's see some tangible effort made by the preachers for once.

Indeed, but on 4 rape charges? Not to rehash the Everton player because his name has been kept out of the news (we all know who it is). He was suspended following his arrest pending further investigations, and that one 1 count of child sex act, and he's still suspended by the club.

Man City knew about Benjamin Mendy following his arrest in November 2020 and continued to play him, rather than suspend him pending investigations.

Yeah now I know they are there, I'll go through them. Last night after the Thai bride episode I watched the Boar Separatists in South Africa and the Black Nationalists in New York. He does find some great people to spend time with.

I really hope they go down this season. If they're in the relegation places in January, are they really going to spend hundreds of millions on players to get them out? Would they risk going there? How do the existing players feel that they're all likely to be binned for the new injection of players that the fans "desperately" need?

This in addition to the Everton player a few weeks back in connection with sex crimes against an underage girl (don't name the player, the thread was locked as it was alleged to be someone but never confirmed). In addition to the bbc documentary about football's darkest secret.... Obviously an issue in the world of football. A lot definitely goes unmentioned.

Where are you based? A good idea in theory but it went against me once. May not for others. When I was being made redundant I did what you suggested. But 2 different agencies got me interviews with 2 different teams of the same company. Needless to say, nobody was very happy with me but I didn't know they were for the same company as they didn't say who the job was for on either of them. But I never gave up hope and I had a few mins spare one day and found a role which I thought would be a perfect fit for me, still there now and I'm doing great and I'm appreciated by my bosses. At the time I was so scared that I wouldn't get a job because my wife wasn't working and we had a newborn and the redundancy was just more of an added pressure. This was also around the time of the court case that some of you will be aware of. They made me redundant a week before the trial started. I was sure to thank them on my last day for being so thoughtful.

I thought this would be the final update. My divorce came through last week. Decree absolute granted and its all finalised..... Glorious .... .... And then it has come out that her relationship and adultery started months before the date she originally gave me when I found out. I based my divorce statement in good faith that it started when she told me and I alluded to comments she made in a whatsapp conversation we had, she then signed the paperwork saying that it was all true, but it's now come out that she lied.... Just don't understand why she'd continue to lie about it, especially on legal documentation. Perjury??? We shall see.

That's true. I always thought it was more shift workers but suppose it could well be that and I've just assumed. I made a decision never to look at my phone in the event I stay on it for ages.

Sorry for the delayed response, I've only just seen this. People keep tagging the wrong batman ??? Since my last post, she has signed the necessary documentation and sent it back to the solicitor dealing with the order. She didn't show a solicitor in the end. Probably because, as you say, they'd tell her she'd be entitled to xyz. So that's something at least. I've not taken any sleeping medication for a few nights now and bar waking up at 3 this morning, I did get back to sleep pretty quickly so I am hoping I won't be needing them any longer. I am sorry to have read of your situation too. Its so worrying how we can trust someone like that and then they be so deceitful. And well done for all that you have achieved since. Your son is very proud I am sure.

Cheers Mr B. I'm honestly dreading hearing back as to what she plans to do. It is so sad because when we were together, she could stand in the middle of trafalgar Square and yell "the sky is made of ice cream and jelly" and I've have stood by her. Now I'm hugely skeptical of everything she says so once it is in writing and she's signed the documentation, then it'll be a huge relief. I know she'll come after it because she is a lying failure, but it'll be such a huge satisfying feeling if she doesn't. I don't mind being wrong on this. ?

Further update. Now getting to the crux of the matter now. She's said all along that she's not interested in any of my money or assets because they're mine. We're at the point where we have to declare our income, savings, pensions etc. Now we will know if it's just another load of BS lies she's told or whether she's stuck to her guns. Also, she doesn't have many friends, 2 of them have broken rank and spoken to me saying how they don't believe a word of what she said to them and how disgusted they are with her. So it's not just my family, friends, circle of people etc, those on her side are too. Her sister saw through her the moment it all came out as well. I imagine her mum and dad are pissed off to but can't admit it out loud because they have to support their daughter. Honestly, it's like the woman I fell in love with, married, mothered our child, and devoted and sacrificed so much time, effort and resource to, just doesn't exist any more. Some phoenix has risen who just resembles her a tad. I'm on sleeping medication now. I tried so hard to stay off it and just get to sleep naturally but nothing was working and I didn't have a good night's sleep for 6 weeks. Been on it 3 nights now and I've slept through each night thankfully. My worry is that I'll believe that I'll need it every night going forward so I just need to wean off it slowly but surely.

Update. Yesterday was an all round good day. Rovers relegated and then Swindon relegated. Between their games, I received an email from the courts advising that my divorce petition has been accepted so the ball has started rolling now. Had a Thatchers Gold last night to celebrate. First cider I've had in a very long time. Tried to stay off the alcohol but felt it was worth it last night.
