I believe that It's only being used at premier league grounds in the cup. So if Cambridge played Newcastle at home in the last round, no VAR. But as it was at St James Park, it was being used.

Always saw him as a perfect impact sub. Quick, direct with his dribbling and a powerful shot on him. Great on the counter. I think he's just burned out, physically and mentally. A lot of football for both club and Country.

Does anyone know Tre Bong outside otib? Social media, family? Not looking to dox but just to make sure all is well. From my own experience, I know how easy it is to want to give up or even have no control over what goes through your own mind. Do hope they are well and everyone else on here too

That's what @Numero Unois saying though. The club made an announcement that a 31 year old first team player was suspended and there were only two 31 year olds at the club at the time. One of them Delph. Course it wasn't him because he's played this season but it meant that he was being targeted as a possible player at the time.

Someone will claim its a very good deep fake video. After all, Biden, gates and the rest of the American political establishment and media moguls would never lie.

They were aware of the accusations in November 2020 and continued to play him rather than suspend him pending further investigations. Granted at the time the player could not be named for legal reasons in the media and people would have wondered why he wasn't playing.... Then again, match of the day, sky sports, bt sports etc have not questioned rafa benitez as to why a certain Everton player hasn't been selected all season and isn't even registered to play in the squad and even confirm who the suspended player is.

It’s just one of those things you put down to experience.

Well he had the benefit of being the manager for such a long time, he could mould the under 23s in to what he wanted and would reap the benefits of them as they got older in to the other age brackets and then the cycle would start again with the new youth players. The class of 92 teenagers he brought in to the team in the mid 90's alongside Keane, Cole, Schmeichel etc for the treble success in 1999 when they were in their mid 20's. The same applied for the 2000's team where Rooney & Ronaldo were signed as teenagers in the early 2000's but they were at their very best in the later stage of the decade when they were in their mid 20's and United won 3 leagues, a champions league and got to the final of 2 others in the space of 4 years (losing both to Barca's Messi, Iniesta, Puyol side). Would love City to have success with academy players. -
I stand by this ???

Anyone used Thatcher's Gold to cook the Christmas Ham in?
The Batman replied to Norn Iron's topic in General Chat
Oh yeah, there was an old air freshener called Haze now you mention it. Guessing it was just incorporated in to air wick / febreeze or whichever. -

Mum used haze this Christmas. She's done it a few times. Rather delightful. I'd rather drink gold than haze so it's not totally wasted. -
Had this discussion with my family earlier. Just one Christmas day sat on a beach, whether that's in the Carribbean, Australia, doesn't matter. Just to say we've done it once.

Yes merry Christmas to all my fellow. Otib-ers. I've defeated the oswold and his army of penguins but catwoman just disappeared after killing max shreck. Good will toward men.... And women.

Match in Germany abandoned after player racially abused
The Batman replied to SecretSam's topic in Football Chat
I read that the TV microphones picked up what was said. Pretty cut and dry if that's the case. Do away with the vermin. All will come out in the legal process. -
Oldham ban three fans for criticizing the club
The Batman replied to Lanterne Rouge's topic in Football Chat
Talksport are good at putting up clips of their shows on YouTube. Not listened to it yet. Playing once I have pressed submit reply. -
Love him Rated him at all the clubs he played at before he joined us. Was delighted when he signed for us. Still very happy he's our player.

Leeds and Newcastle to both get relegated please Santa. Honestly, the two sets of fans are so utterly deluded and the media love in with them is just full on cringe.

I mentioned the old cds and tapes that used to play in our house. There was one compilation of the greatest Christmas songs that mum used to play while we were prepping Christmas Dinner and Rock n Roll Christmas by Gary Glitter was on there. That shows how old the CD was. Actually a good Christmas song. *puts tin hat on*

I watched on YouTube. The BBC will have their text updates. If they don't show it, it'll be ever more suspect.

May have to be redrawn. They initially included man utd as an opponent for villareal (couldn't be an option because they played in group stage together) and arshavin drew them out and they had to select another team. Now it's just been announced that when Atletico Madrid were drawn, they didn't include man utd as an option when they should have done. People calling fix.... Incompetent definitely. Bunch of clowns.

Films, songs, traditions Wack them all on here. Share some ideas that others may want to follow. Could be obvious ones, ie watching its a wonderful life on Christmas eve. Or something obscure, Only You by The Flying Pickets was Christmas number 1 in 1983 and everytime I hear it, always reminded of Christmas growing up because it was on Christmas tapes / cds that used to be played at mum and dad's house.

Sprung to mind straight away. Video of it was so funny at the time.
