  1. Morning Nick. Been a while, hope you are well. I stand by it. Always will do. I could go over it detail by detail but busy day today and I'd simply be rehashing what I've put in numerous posts in numerous topics over time. I've discovered that posters on here don't like inconvenient truths and I've provided videos and links to the press releases and articles made at the time proving my points, and as time has gone on, it just makes my case stronger. You and others will disagree and that's perfectly fine. I enjoy the interaction on here as long as nobody gets abusive with personal attacks which I'd like to think we've all stayed within the boundaries of. The one time the media had the balls to ask Southgate about a Boycott, he said its complicated and then spoke about sainsburys. Nothing since. The media have obviously been told not to ask questions about it in briefings before. I avoided all the qualifiers and won't watch the tournament. I stand by what I say with tangible efforts. Some might think it's weird but why would I spend my whole time critisizing the tournament and then watch it? Not for me. As its on at Christmas, I'll just watch a load of Christmas films while the games are on. People can do what they wish but if they preach one set of ideals but go against them for their own life then I will call it out. At the moment, anything other than a Boycott of Qatar will be meaningless in my view. If they stuck with just the support of the black lives matter movement then I wouldn't be able to critisice the Qatar World Cup to them because its whataboutery. But its not anymore, even though some say it never was in the first place (I kept the receipts so if I need to get the links and videos back from the time then I can do). I could use other numerous examples but as I said, busy day. Enjoy your Sunday all.
  2. Offside and a dive. Clipped his own heels when he realised he wouldn't get the ball.
  3. Kneeling began with the aftermath of George Floyd's murder. 4000 miles away with nothing to do with English football. Qatar is also 4000 miles away. Directly linked to the footballing world now because they're hosting the world Cup. If they had anything about them, the players would Boycott it. I've boycotted the qualifiers and won't watch the tournament. Easy to just kneel down to make themselves feel good and it doesn't cost them anything but if they boycotted it, it would be a much better stance to take, but they won't. Zero tolerance* *conditions apply.
  4. Reason for it. Fair play to him. Repulsive behaviour from those supporters.
  5. Ancelotti now with his fourth champions league winning medal as a manager. In addition to the European Cup medals he won as a player. Elite manager. Success after success his whole footballing career.
  6. Behave. That team was great. Eto'o & Molito with a prime Sneijder behind them (should have won the ballon d'or that year)
  7. He's always been a top keeper in my book.
  8. Good man. Me too. Slight side note. Mane should win the ballon d'or if Liverpool win tonight. But he won't. But he should. Insult that Salah was 7th last year but this year, mane would have won the AFCON and they qualified for the world cup, and was 1 point away from a Quadruple with his club (if they win this evening). Even if they don't win, I still think he should get it.
  9. Just a quick one from those who were around at the time. Not sure if it's been covered in this thread or I've asked it before on others. Just how good were the mid 80's Everton team? I know in the footballing world, they say they would have won the European Cup had it not been for the ban on English teams, but is that people looking back with huge nostalgia or were they really that top a side in comparison to what else was out there at the time?
  10. So what's with this mega crash that's gone on? Hoping those of you who invested got out before it sunk.
  11. I imagine if you wack them on YouTube, you may recognise one of the others. Obviously a whole new world was a copy of the disney song so that's recognisable but yeah, he did a version
  12. Mysterious girl - obviously Insania Flava A version of a whole new world Absolute bangers. But that's all I can think of.
  13. I hadn't until I saw it flash up on here. Took to twitter and the first thing I saw was someone retweeting the news about Peter Andre.
  14. Poor Peter Andre If you know, you know.
  15. What a player Camavinga is already. Changed the game when he came on. He and massengo running the French midfield for many years to come
  16. Goes to show it doesn't matter how many minutes ahead you are in a game or how often you take the lead. It's the final score that's most important
  17. Think yourself lucky. My ex wife is a terrible person. I'd say we Co parent but I ultimately Co parent with my ex mother in law. My daughter told me and my mum last weekend that mummy doesn't play with her because she doesn't love her. Now kids do say things that sometimes come out wrong but she always tells me what she does with her auntie, cousins, nanny and grandad etc but never what she does with her mum. Realised now it's because she probably doesnt. My ex wife's friends have seen through her now because of what she's done and the way she conducts herself, but that's the path she's taken and it's on her when it goes tits up.
  18. Nicky Hunt is the correct answer to the worst right back we've ever had.
  19. Very strange decision but won't have any issues getting another job. Saw that Billy Mercer was the keeping coach. Blast from the past there. Them two go back to the Chesterfield days. Best of luck to those taking over.
  20. To add to my pile of misery that April brings, today I was on my way back from taking my daughter out for the day when I witnessed a stabbing happen across the road. Had we not stopped to get her a chocolate bar, we may have been right next to it. Called the police and ambulance but people who were right there were able to give statements and things. Horribly, I felt completely desensitised by it because of what I've seen before. 16 year old boy just after 4pm in a city centre. School kids around, daylight, same street as a police station here in wolves.
  21. Looking forward to the big lgbtq+ parade that England will be doing against Iran.... While playing in Qatar.... Get the rainbow armbands and flags out that game. Homosexuality is illegal and can carry the death penalty in both countries. I've boycotted the qualifiers and I'll be boycotting the tournament too. Even if we make the final. Won't watch it. Disgusting they're still going ahead but it shows that zero tolerance towards any forms of discrimination they've been spouting doesn't apply to them.
  22. He's back on the man utd website. Cavani was injured for Uruguay the other day. Martial still out on loan. https://www.manutd.com/en/players-and-staff/first-team . . . He was taken off the site when all this came about. Something has happened behind the scenes. We shall see.
  23. One of my first away games was going to see them. They beat us easily. We obviously improved against them since. They had 2 former city players in their starting 11 then we signed their striker who served us well for a few years. (and at HMP too)
  24. I saw it when it came out. Won't ruin it for everyone else. Hell of a stat mind.
