    Interesting to know

But I would assume there would be lots of player movements if this was the case all through the league

I assume the top end clubs maybe offer better deals?

I'd guess better deals at the tip of the WSL, loyalty below.

fair point I don't know, I thought it was commonplace outside of the WSL to only issue 1 year contracts, but I could be wrong.

Attended fans forum at the club. Got impression very few were on multi year contracts. My guess Harrison and Bentley at a minimum. Unlikely to too be many more.

You really want the builders moving in the day after the last home game. For them to be on standby waiting for planning permission is not ideal. Then the school holidays kick in.

On the plus side for them it isn't actually that big a structure.

My guess is the stand might open without the concourse ready, just the seating? If they get it all built then fair play to the builders.

Maybe there will be a penalty clause to encourage them, you know, 'get it built in time or we will make you watch the games'.

Concourse, you gotta be kidding. Alleyway is the correct term.

AG - “Primary home” guessing some games will be elsewhere

I thinks this means the Conti Cup fixtures where they could face championship teams could be at the RHPC and maybe some FA Cup based on opposition. RHPC doesn't meet WSL criteria, so will not be used for league games.

  5. A nervy afternoon as Birmingham had kept the pressure on. Would have fidgeted a lot, except I was wedged in my seat (were people really that small in 1970). The second goal eased the pressure on the team although it may have returned big time if not for Bentleys fine save. In the end can't fault finishing  5-0 and 4-0 to clinch the title.

  6. I'm a left leaning subscriber to the Guardian, but found the article very tenuous. Feels at times that the paper has a quota of politically correct articles to fulfill and this was written to that end. Next week there will be an expose of the lack of diversity within Bowls clubs. Not sure that these "stretch" article's really advance the debate.

    Blimey that's been well hidden

I wonder if the club will be offering refunds to those unknowingly paying full price?

Been sent out to all supporters over the last few weeks. In plain sight. Anyway to we want WSL or do we want it cheap.

Well miser if you're confused by my post you obviously haven't been watching City for long or are easily pleased.

Been watching for 57 years. Yet to be worn down by negativity
