On behalf of our many amish

Seen quite a few Amish groups whilst on holiday in the USA. Youngsters all in traditional dress with the exception of a smartphone in their hands. Admittedly, I have no experience of the Somerset Amish.

Does anyone know if the digital season ticket will work offline? 90% of the time I don't get any signal at the ground. I'm assuming they'll work just like digital tickets where you can just download as a pdf?

You do not need a signal. The tickets in the wallet are held on your phone. All you need a charger.

Is it my imagination watching this and the 2 results against Man City in the cup games that is there quite a gulf between the WSL and the Championship? If they get promoted what are the chances of staying up? Would it require a lot of recruitment? Do we know if SL is willing to back them appropriately?

Not meaning to sound too negative, just trying to understand the context. The same issues would apply to the current men’s team if they got promoted from the Championship to the Premier League - only a few players would make it at that level, so we would be dependent on recruiting a significant number of new players.

There is a gap, probably getting bigger each season as the WSL is increasingly dominated by the Premier big guns. Would require investment if promoted. The Man City results were probably a bit unfair on the team as we didn't play our strongest 11 in either game. If we get up, it will be a scrap with the bottom teams, but you can't be scared of success.

  4. Hard fought victory at a chilly Dripping Pan. Fairly even first half with City beginning to stretch Lewes prior to the interval. Second half was mostly City. Hayles shot over in the opening minutes, but was on target to slot in after 58 minutes. Thereafter a series of Lewes blocks prevented a second. The odd Lewes foray tested the nerves toward the end, overall a deserved victory for the reds and now 3 clear at the top.

Quarter final draw took place on The One Show tonight.

Had Bristol City won yesterday, there'd be an away trip to Aston Villa. And London City Lionesses away would have had to be rescheduled again...

(Lewes v Manchester United looks to be awesome. And either Brighton or Birmingham potentially being in a semi-final is interesting)

Good tie for Lewes, hopefully they won't overprice the beach hut option.

  6. Tough afternoon. Team selection clearly had one eye on Wednesday  night where we play Lewes, our game in hand. Thought we did OK first half with the score being a result of Man City being clinical in front of goal rather than us being overrun. The 2 late goals in the second half were unfortunate and probably due to the substitutions weakening the team. Clearly will be an issue if we go up, but the reality is bee owing a more distorted league than the Premier league.

I watched the entire game on ITV4 and England were far and away the better team. Belgium managed one shot - a screamer - all game.

Whilst I like see England ladies doing well there’s something missing and definitely wouldn’t pay to see them play.

Try a City Women home game at the HPC. Moderate outlay, but real football.

Rovers head of fales Mr David Dim has today announced the capacity of our proposed permananent temporary wrap around stand has been increased to 4000 and it will be renamed the South West North East Stand.

The news that construction is to be completed in July was met with incredulity by supporters and the Bristol City Council planning department alike but Mr Dim is standing by his story. He told reporters gathered outside the Atomic Bugger on Gloucester Road that  contractors have assured him the minute this season ends he will feel the earth move under his feet and the sky come a tumbling down. Later adding that his heart starts to tremble whenever he hears the words new ground.

Slightly satirical, but so close to reality
