There'll be some repercussion for the SAGS but probably a fine so it won't matter. As for Scunny playing a weakened team they'll probably get fined too but again it won't matter.
-
Doesn't matter. SAGS will win the play offs anyway with 50,000 travelling to Wembley leaving a further 30,000 locked out of tickets.

Great crowd but a poor game. Wednesday looked as if they wanted to learn to play without Barry Bannan as he was continuously by passed by long balls. Infact between the two sides the ball was in the air more than City, Gas and Bears matches combined.

Wycombe are remarkable, basically their game seems to be based on pushing, blocking players off at set pieces & kicking it in the air. 2-0 up now.
They make Luton look like Real Madrid.
Obviously effective but absolute ******* rubbish to watch.
Also Gareth Ainsworth has to be one of the saddest people in the country, nearly 50 & looking like he is the bass player in Whitesnake, ******* state of him.
In fairness they're a little more than that, the second goal was well worked. But they play to their strengths and when you have the delivery of both Jacobson and McCleary at your disposal its not surprising that set pieces, are a big part of their game. As for Ainsworth most managers of his agecwould love to have his hair. And he's a character and we can't have enough of them.

37, seems to have been there for ever, I see Akinfenwa is on the bench for Wycombe..how old must he be now
Dean Lewington has played the most games for one team of any current Premier League or EFL player. Interestingly he is one of only 4 players in english professional football to have played more than 700 games for one club and like him all the others were left sided Defenders.

Disappointing that most of the talk on this thread is about two totally meaningless European games, when the only game that has interest for City is taking place at Wycombe who remain 1 up. Really fascinating game with its clash of styles and total commitment from both teams.

Utter madness! What was so iconic about his shirt? It's just an Argentina shirt with 10 on the back. Now if they were auctioning his severed hand that would be iconic!

Get rid of the 4th official and his stupid little time board which only incites the crowd, players and managers alike.
Put that bloody flag up. When a player is offside indicate it straight away not wait minutes chancing a bad injury during 'dead' play.

Unless you want to purchase replica kit the club shop is an embarrassment. The range is pitiful and the quality of some of the merchandise is at best questionable. Even the scarves and badges are not of the quality of old.

I'm sorry that he's died as I'm sorry that anyone has died but why does it deserve a thread on here. Are we going to follow the fate of every agent/parasite now.

Perhaps this time the POTY won't leave the club before the start of the next season.

It's been reported in Wales Onine and the Sun that Cardiff have slapped an £80M compensation claim on Nantes as they claim the death of Emiliano Sala cost them relegation from the Premier League.

First one for me was away to Leeds in the FA Cup 9 March 68. John Galley was spotted in a compromising position with a woman on the return journey.

Leeds are a selling club as well. They sold us Norman Hunter and Bob Taylor.
John Shaw, Jimmy Mann and Lee Matthews also came to us from Leeds.

My mistake- slightly above average. The man, the myth, the Frank Lampard.
You really do have a downer on Lampard don't you, but I suppose jealousy is a human trait.

Overall the better team won but Everton made Liverpool battle for the win. Gordon was unlucky not to have earned at least one penalty for Everton. The conflicted Carragher (grew up an Evertonian, became a Liverpool legend) remarking after Alexander-Arnold shoved him in the back that it wasn't a penalty but it would have been a free-kick anywhere else on the pitch.
