I have no doubt that the draw will be a long drawn out convulated affair involving a cast of thousands and possibly singing camels!

I'd be interested to know what the away figures were. I imagine pretty good for Notts County/Chesterfield but not so for Wrexham/Dover. Away fans can make a real difference here but not so elsewhere, although they can travel in reasonable numbers in Germany, Italy and Poland for the big rivalries.

Youth starlet Robert Stambolziev who was born in Melbourne rejected a professional contract at City and ponced around Greece before ending back in Oz.

Great sorrow for your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

It is wonderful goal from Bale and is the difference in a tight game where both sides have had chances. I'm finding it a bit of a hard watch though because of the commentary. There is such a big love in going on they really ought to get a room for a threesome.

No more speeding fines yet?
(Or don't they exist in Italy!)
You would have a job speeding in Rome.

It's about money and Rangers have agreed to take part because they need some. As was made clear at Dundee today Gers fans are not happy.

We can laugh but a win at Northampton means the SAGS are major players for promotion this season. They're the in form team and if they don't make automatic they could well be a good bet to win the play offs.

You can man a post and should still have enough to deal with corner. Usual practice would be to place a small guy on the post eg Jay to leave height in the centre of the box.
I would certainly leave one up, either Semenyo or Weimann to force two back.

Can still bet on West Brom at just above evens...
Who with? I hope we're not giving more money to Stoke City.

A return to conceding soft goals and not making most of our opportunities going forward.

Another good win for the U23s. Good chance of making the end of season knock out now.

The odds on bet here is a 2-2 draw to add to the collection of them over the years.

I forsee the day when we'll field an XI with double barrelled names.

Interesting to see what we do about Cundy's contract situation. I noted Pearson's comment that he likes to defend and is his type of player.

A pity about Liverpool's late winner at Charlton. Although we have to play them at home I doubt there's enough games left to drag back 7 points.

I thought the law had been amended so that encroachment is only deemed to have occurred if the player has a direct effect on the outcome. For example preventing the penalty taker from getting to a rebound of a save.
I think you must be right. Other than penalty shoot outs you never see a penalty anymore where encroachment into the penalty area doesn't occur.

Kalas is a good player at this level. He has a prodigious leap and he is a battler. There are certainly plenty of matches over the last couple of years where his presence has saved our bacon. That said, he is nowhere near the best centre back in the Championship and I think we can do better. I'm already on record as saying id rather sell Kalas (and Bentley) than let the kids leave and I'm still of that view.

I would have liked to have kept Tavernier but he's definitely more of a wing back than full back. He's OK defensively and was good enough in a confident City team that swept aside all before it in league one and again in a strong Rangers team in a league where his defensive frailties are not overly exposed. His strengths however are his coolness in the final third going forward and his dead ball delivery. I'm not too sure he'd be such a stand out player in poor side, even in Scotland.
Kent is a typical winger. World beater one game, panel beater the next. He has matches of brilliance for Rangers but he has games where his passing ability and decision making are very poor.

As Rotherham will probably go up as Div 1 champions I doubt Michael Smith will move.

I suppose its contentious as to whether Sheff Utd are a bigger club than Wednesday, certainly higher position these days, but I'm not sure about that one. Also are Arsenal bigger than Chelsea or Tottenham ?
Sheffield Wednesday are definitely a bigger club than Sheffield United. I'm certain that Burnley fans won't take kindly to Blackburn being the biggest club in what remains of Lancashire, and Preston may take umbrage too.

I dunno what would be a derby game around lincs.
Doncasters not far.
Donny and Lincoln certainly don't like each other as I witnessed when many years ago taking in the Friday night fixture at Belle Vue en route to watching City at Hartlepool. But in the absence of Boston the derby games for Lincoln must be Scunny and Grimsby.

Listened to the commentary for a bit and Pearce mentioned that the new Spurs ground is the best he’s visited. Started to rattle off a number of other favourite grounds and I was waiting for Ashton Gate. Luckily Chris Sutton mentioned AG!
It's not a new ground. It's an expanded ground built on and around the same site. They can fall it what they like but they haven't moved and it's still at White Hart Lane.

Disappointed by clubs response at game today. I only saw a brief flash of Ukrainian colours on the big screen and that's it?
Shameful
I agree. I also half expected some enterprising false merchandiser to be selling City/Shaktar Donetsk or England/Ukraine half and half scarves outside the stadium.

I read it similarly but STFC clearly believe Downing LLP to be complicit in the actions allegedly undertaken by the companies they invest in. I trust, for their sake, that the evidence they hold is incontrovertible or they're in serious danger of a counter action for defamation.
