Looks like something from the BBC drama, Silent Witness.
No Emilia Fox though.
They really don't help themselves do they?

I went to Chasers back in the day and was accused of just this.
I jumped a mile when I saw that! Where did it come from?

God bless Martin, truly City til he died and truly inspirational in the way he attacked 'Tommy'.
My deepest love and condolences to all his family and friends.
Sleep well my friend, you battled so hard and will be deeply missed.
I'm so sorry for your loss Russell.

On the subject of the statue, who do you contact to get a name added to the plinth nowadays and the cost? I'd like to get my dads name added.

Fair play, you crack one off about finally playing a player you produced twice & him then keeping a clean sheet against the mighty Exeter.
Definitely “coming for us”.
If he's any good, we will get him.

Let's be honest here, we played midweek, Leeds didn't and a rested Leeds are clearly a very, very good side.
We now know the levels we need to aspire to.
For me, it's a case of saying 'well played Leeds' tbh. The way our 3 centre halves were exposed to pace was brutally good.

Hes signed,, i think its going to be an interesting summer for our out of contract midfielders!
What's that now, 3 to arrive next season and we've already signed them? Murphy, Bird and the lad from Aldershot?
If we try to keep Twine, we must be losing the older guard.

Doesn't appear to have happened tbh, not listed anywhere.

Do you think one of the pillars of the new stand has gone through the telephone line?
Maybe the digital switchover hit the mem 11 months early.

Question.
If Dire tears it up here, what's to stop Man C invoking their byback option then asking us for a far higher price ( not that I think they would)?

Nah, just condemn the lad without seeing him play seems a better idea
Liam has been watching him for 'some time'.
Your way is far more entertaining but this one's on Liam IMHO.

I bet the fax is playing up again.

Has Bird not signed then? Can't see confirmation anywhere.

. We get on loan players from a low rated Belgium team. We are a stronger team, richer and doesn't look good. But who knows, maybe Gurdiola fked up and he is a great talent which doesn't feel good in Belgium and wants back.
To be fair, some very good players haven't made it at Man City, they're a bit good!

Hopefully an already agreed permanent deal if successful.
If it works out, let's hope so. He signed for the Belgian mob for €1.65M, should be within our budget.
Let's see I suppose. Looking strong, if a bit young, for next season already and if this guy is decent and available, boom!

If so he wouldn't be that arsed about being here in the first place?
You miss my point DS. I meant that we wouldn't be the only club interested come the summer and, while he's happy to sign for us now (good on him), I'm sure there would be more money available to him wages wise, in the summer, if he had waited.
I take it as a positive that he's signed now rather than wait until the summer tbh.

So, are we expecting 1 in more then and nobody out?

The fee intrigues me a bit.
Some Derby fans reckon they would've got £2m at tribunal, I guess we will find out what we paid in the fullness of time in the accounts in a couple of years time.
He'll be at Bournemouth by then.

Uh, wait.....something needs clarifying about this deal.
Why, why, why on earth are we paying a fee now when we could get him on a free in the summer?
Maybe we wouldn't get him in the summer?

Who on earth is Smith?
I read this as Bird was a player we wanted in the summer but would probably be outbid once he'sOOC, so we took a chance and went for it now.
If that's the case, we'll done City for taking an opportunity.

Exactly as usual people who know **** all putting best gloss in it
I'm definitely not ITK in any way whatsoever, pure guesswork on my part. I do enjoy the desperation from some of those that do pertain to be ITK though.

'More blue areas than red'?
Not even close anymore is it?
I live in Barrs Court and there are 64 houses in my road. I know of 2 gasheads, neither of whom go as they are retired and can't be arsed, 2 Leeds fans who actually do go regularly and about 40 regular attending reds. This is in an 'area' which is supposedly blue.
I think not!
