  1. KUMB is hilarious today. On their match thread around pages 94-96, their red card was 'soft' and we should have had 5 (five) red cards.

    VAR blah blah blah.

Tough shit cock-er-knees, it's a man's game in case you had forgotten in your Premier league bubble.

According to them, we are 'crap thugs'. This from a club that had renowned hard men like Bonds and Lampard snr. They've forgotten what football is, a CONTACT sport!

  2. How close is Sykes? We've missed him.

I can see Knight dropping deeper and a 4-2-3-1 with Sykes right and Annis / Bell to the left of Twine. No idea who misses out but Williams and Knight for the 2 DMs if I was choosing with Williams and TGH to replace them.

Burnley may well be relegated and be forced into a fire sale in the summer, in which case if the player wants to stay will be in a prime position to sign him at a cost lower than the current asking price.  Who knows?

Lots of of financial disciplinary action to be taken in the Prem yet. Everton, Forest, Man C, Chelsea, maybe more.

I've no idea what will happen and would guess Burnley don't have much more idea either.

Oh you're one of those separate forum for arguments betwetters are you?! Go on, justify that you woke, happy clapper! :ranting::ph34r:

Not particularly, just sick of reading their petty shite on a thread supposedly about a new player.

    Love and kisses

Karen ( the most non PC bedwetter ever). 😉

Yeh my enthusiasm to this has dropped if it's solely a loan. We're just giving him game time ahead of Burnley coming back down.

    Just doing them a favour.

and paying for the privilege no doubt.

Good player, no doubt, but without an option to buy, we're paying Burnley to keep a player fit for them.

I don't see the point at all without an option. 🤷

Wonder who will take over as captain? I would assume James but then guess you can't rule out Zak or Knighty

I've a feeling Ross McC might be in the frame, 'natural leader' and 'vocal' wasn't it on the report earlier this week? Wasn't he captain at Aberdeen?

    Knighty will be good too.

    Keeping it real. In the discussion about lack of capacity for the Norwich replay on asschat;

I guess there will never be enough allocation of tickets while residing at the Mem! The largest capacity we could ever hope for would be around 24000.

When would they ever need that ffs?

It won't be anywhere near 24k, more like 16 I would guess.

Lots of injuries for the 'Ammers, with Mavrapanos, Paquetta, Bowen and Antonio missing the replay. Plus Kuddus and Aguerd on ACN duty.

All down to our 'thugs' and 'dirty tactics' according to their supporters.

  9. To be fair to the scummers, years ago, we had a similar problem when we played, ironically, the scummers, at the Gate. Season ticket holders couldn't get in, ground full etc.

That said it was probably 30 years ago and it shouldn't happen in this day and age.

Apparently you had problems with West Ham tickets? Clearly not on this scale. Since Rovers have switched to Ticketmaster, there have been numerous cock ups, people not receiving tickets in time for a game is commonplace, it barely even gets anyone angry anymore. As it stands, it looks like I , a long term season ticket holder, will miss out on the Norwich game. I get this is a piss take thread and I understand that a few of you are having a chuckle over it, but it does seem that - although not yet confirmed- that it is yet another Ticketmaster cock up and I think all football fans should be wary about this. There are some good people at Rovers in the ticket office as I'm sure there are at City and many other clubs around the country, people  who actually care about the fans, usually because they are fans themselves.

Football fans need to stick together on some issues and stand up to glorified touts like Ticketmaster.

We didn't have a 'problem' per se Miah, it was just that we have more SC holders than tickets available so some SC holders didn't get a ticket and had a bit of a whinge. AFAIK, it never even got past SC holders, let alone members and general sale.

There were some concerns re distribution as well, kind of goes with an electronic ticketing system I guess.

I'm sorry you didn't get a ticket for the replay.

    Couldn’t agree more.

This would be our 4th highest fee paid, at a time when making top six would be a real stretch.

Far more logical to spend in the summer when you don’t get pressured by the madness of the January window.

Also it is surely worth us looking outside the UK to get better value when we do?

What is our highest out of interest?

Kalas, Diedhou, Massengo? All released for nada IIRC.

Everyone in football knows that Liverpool extended their capacity to 61k just so their second favourite club, The Gas, could break the away attendance record………I must admit it would be worthy of a cheeky smile if Norwich turned them over now.

    'Cheeky smile? Massive piss take!
