  1. Yeh i quickly deleted it as i didnt really believe what i typed ?
  2. De Bruyne can win you a cup against Villa & Watford, but he dont like finals against the big teams does he!
  3. Have they not done the “pick THREE” thing just the other day/last week? Think there could be something in this……whether that be Joe Bryan or just signing number 3 of the window (inclined to think it’s the latter & it will be Roberts).
  4. Ah that makes more sense, hopefully the add ons never kicked in! Think that will be the same for Scott tbh, we may claim we get a stupid amount of money when he does eventually leave, but a lot could end up being add ons.
  5. How much did he cost? Most sites have him down as £7mil (or €8mil) - the only site i have seen to have him down as less is the Bristol Post
  6. Massengo cost us £7mil & that was 4 years ago, i would say Scott is much further along with his development than HNM was & nobody really thought the money was OTT. I dont think any club would be stupid enough to offer £10mil & think they would get told anything other than “piss off & dont waste our time”. Some of the prices are ridiculous, i agree, but i think it’s reasonable to ask (& expect) around £25m.
  7. If you can’t celebrate winning a European cup then you may as well give up….**** me beating Man U in the Carabao Cup QF is probably going to be the highlight of my lifetime supporting City!
  8. I know it's very early days in the window & a lot can happen ect ect..........but looking at that list of 24 teams, it really doesn't strike me as being a high quality league this season, seems very open & all teams relatively evenly matched.
  9. His sister spent a number of years in the states at college as well, so can absolutely see him ending up in the MLS.
  10. Smart man......made no real sense for him to come back here from his perspective (as much as we would of all loved it), i personally would rather spend the next few years abroad if i was him so can't begrudge that.
  11. I'm not sure if he is much of a City fan, nor a fan of football in general. Same with Bobby Reid, he started his career with us but is a Liverpool fan.
  12. The "Joe Bryan" thread, if @Bcfcshags says it's dead, then i am more than inclined to take his word for it.
  13. Doesn't look like he's coming here at all!
  14. Meh, that's a shame. Was excited at first thought of him coming back, but it's not the end of the world. He's an interesting character is Joe & maybe he would see coming back here as a potential failure from his side? If he ends up going to Cardiff then that would be a bizarre choice to say the least
  15. Does he play primarily at LB/LWB? Thought he was a CB at first! If so, can see this meaning the Bryan deal is dead unfortunately.
  16. Sort of rumour that comes out of the blue which is usually realistic. Kalas is obviously gone so this makes sense on a free as well.
  17. It’s fantastic! They deserve everything coming to them.
  18. Wherever Bryan ends up, it sure as shit wont be Cardiff! They won’t be signing anyone from this division, maybe not even the league below. A dross of random crap from europe/turkey is where they will be shopping.
  19. Can’t imagine Pearson being the type to let someone “ooh” & “ahh” over signing for us this season, think he will want the main targets in early doors or move on to others. If Bryan isn’t fully sure he wants to sign, especially based on Pearsons previous comments, he will pull the offer relatively quickly. Still think he will sign for us, but if he hasn’t in the next 10 days then i can’t see it happening.
  20. Completely forgot that he had left on a free from Swansea, you could be right with that one, would seem more likely over Bryan.
  21. Maybe people just putting 2 & 2 together & coming up with 5? Russell Martin is set to be appointed & as he was "interested" in Bryan for Swansea, maybe people assume he will be for the Saints? But as they spent £6 million on a young left back from Man City last summer i'm not so sure if he will get as much game time over there as he will with us if he chooses them. Time will soon tell.
  22. I mean moaning about the standard of refs at our level, which is truly awful, is one thing but physically attacking a ref & his family (whilst making his daughter cry as she is scared) is a completely different kettle of fish. I can't imagine any City fan doing that. For what it's worth, he did ref a good game in the circumstances he was placed in. The only thing he should of done different was sent a member from both sets of benches off early doors to set a standard.
  23. Got a feeling this one could be announced today perhaps as apparently Aberdeen could sign another defender pretty soon from the Netherlands.
  24. Expect nothing less from the scumbags that support Roma, ******* vile fans same as most in that country
