Good to watch, whether it was our movement or Hull not working hard enough, probably a bit of both. Andi seemed to spend the entire game with no-one within 10 yards of him!
-
Good lad, sounds like he wants to play football, not be a footballer.

I think it is important that any thread on Jack Hunt contains this clip
That was certainly the best of Hunt! My problem with him was his control and first touch were not championship standard and his positioning wasn't the best either, never doubted his effort. Shame we didn't get Pisano a few years younger, proper Italian defender!

Always had a soft spot for the Grecians - my dad is from near there and grew up supporting them.
Some nice away days for their fans next season that will be a change from most of the grounds they usually visit - Possibly Sheff W., definitely Charlton, Portsmouth, Bolton.
If Sunderland blow promotion again they’ll go there on League business for the first time in their history. They’ll definitely visit Ipswich for the first time since 1957 in the league.
Soft spot as well,my brother was at uni there and used to watch in the Tony Kellow and Peter Hatch era.I think Len Bond was in goal.

Bit of a whoosh there Graham .
Bearing in mind the whoosh when me and Scu were at Kingsfield School in Warmley it was 50/50 City and Gas! Most cars driving along the Feeder at 1-45 on a Saturday afternoon contain passengers in City shirts.

In my memory McCop was a midfielder? For Centre backs I give Gus Ceased!

We can laugh but a win at Northampton means the SAGS are major players for promotion this season. They're the in form team and if they don't make automatic they could well be a good bet to win the play offs.
I don't think it often happens that the 'form team' wins the play offs-thats what I'm hoping anyway!

Having seen his 45 mins at Forest I wasn't worried at all. Reminds me a bit of Mark Shail who came from non league and looked at home straight away.

Andi Weimann - what a finish! - what a season!
Delighted for him.
As Sinatra once sang
When I got 17 It was a very good year
I'm sorry, I'm just very pleased for the boys!

Dave Smith was quick but I think Ivan was quicker

What scares me about that photo is that it was 15 years prior to our infamous 5-4 victory, which is 20 years ago this year!!
That's just scary...time is a strange concept.

I was impressed with his physicality, gave away nothing in that department. Certainly showed up Kalas who had a dreadful second half.

I remember this one.
But just looking at it again, does it actually go in?
Doesn't look like it's anywhere near in!

Seeing as apart from season ticket holders we only sell 3 or 4000 per game at the most any reduction is surely the way to go.
-
'The football is unrecognisably better'. Technically better certainly, but more entertaining?
-
For a big lump of a centre half he certainly knew where the goal was!
-
From memory it was right footed from almost the corner of the 18 yard box, seemed an impossible angle.
-
Re the Boro goal, good job it wasn't Max in goal otherwise it would have been his fault...

Out of the play-off places. Last 4 results since the sacking….
W0 - D1 - L3 Just one point out of a possible 12.
Serves them right, ridiculous sacking

Wholeheartedly agree, but also a mention for Martin who totally bossed their defenders.

Pring’s challenge looked a red all day long. It was high, I think he got the Reading player near the stomach. He was very lucky to get away with it.
Must admit I winced at that challenge, there was another a bit earlier by Klose which looked two footed. He'd rather ignore controversy and give free kicks for nothing (glad he did on this occasion obviously)

Little bit of sick in my mouth remembering that he played for Cardiff.
I take your point but we are all allowed one mistake, even Albert!
